Hi My Name Is John McCain And I'm running for President. I would tell you what I think but the Party won't let me think on my own yet. I therefore have no opinion on anything yet. That's why were telling you how bad Obama is now.......We will, I mean I will have opinions shortly.

Tall,

That doesn't make sense. My question to you and your opinion only, why didn't Obama pick Hillary? If he would have, the Democrats would have won hands down.

I don't think any party could tell McCain what to do.

He didn't pick Hillary for the same reason John didn't pick one of his front runners. The conflict in Ideas, and the press that was there to catch every word uttered. Now as for John being told what to say and believe have you really listened to any of the Democratic spots. One that sticks out in my head is the John who said one thing last year and changed his opinion 180 degrees this year. I believe they called it John McCain debates himself.

I am very much in the same position as you Tall. I am speaking of actual physical disabilities. I have to say it surprises me that you would vote for a man that put could our liberties, physically limiting as they are, in jeopardy. If you are voting Obama just because he is a democrat, that is a poor reason. With such a shaky background as Obamas or what we even know of his background, the strength of the country that we especially are dependent on, your choice doesn't make good sense. Maybe I shouldn't bring this up but you speak of your MD freely in your bio as I do about my problems in mine. Obama speaks of cutting back on military spending and nuclear aspirations weakening our country right when all our enemies are rattling their sabers and screaming anti-Americanisms, I won't even speak of the alleged muslim ties. I understand that you are a pacifist, but dreaming of a peaceful world with all the nuts out there is just that, a dream. Even the Bible says there will always be wars or rumors of war. It would be wonderful to divert all the money from our military to rebuild our own country but without a strong military we won't have a country to rebuild. With the condition you and I are in we could nothing, as face it, we are the epitome of vulnerability, as much as I hate to admit it, it's calling a spade a spade.

Jax,

It is the Republicans attempt to extinguish the middle class that has me turning more Obama's way. I am not now, nor have I ever been, a pacifist. I have stated many times that George didn't go after the right target. I don't blame the Middle Easterners for being Mad at us. We should have attacked the Snake who did it (Osama bin Laden) with such force that no one would ever think twice about it again. Maybe getting involved in a civil war is ok with you, but not me. George has put the Country in the Greatest debt it has ever seen. Every Man Woman and Child owe over 30,000. I tell you we must restore order to the budget and the world. America simply can't afford to keep destroying the dollar. Now as you know the Democrats have and do what they can to help people like you and I. I would think you would come on board and see if they can do something with the $4,100 gap.

You speak of Bush and the lies that got us into Iraq to begin with. I believe McCain voted for the invasion of Iraq because Bush's so called mind was made up. McCain moved as a military officer would. If the commander and chief says war, an officer swallows his personal feelings and says "yes sir."

I don't think the war was the right move and questioned it from the beginning. But I known the personal and worldwide disgrace of just packing up and pulling out of a war dishonorably. We need to leave Iraq but not until the country is secure and able to govern for the betterment of it's people. Our being involved in a civil war is not in McCain's agenda and shouldn't be. The American lives lost and so many others ruined also should not have been lost in vain either by a pull out as was done in Vietnam.

As for thinking you were pacifist, I just made assumptions based on the tone of many of your posts and comments. I should know better then assume because I'm usually wrong. That's why I don't gamble.

I'm all for getting out of Iraq but not until the time is right. With, Afghanistan, Iran, Russia, and possibly North Korea looming I hope the right time is soon. Cutting military spending is absurd right now or ever in this world as it is now for that matter.

As for that $4100 donut hole, that just plain sucks but no one is going to agree with everything in a candidate's policies so you go by priorities I guess and hope for the best.

I am an American Indian. I developed Muscular Dystrophy in 2001 at the ripe old age of 44. I spend my days mostly on line and with my Ex-wife, and kids. I guess you could say I'm a Democrat but I am most interested in what any candidate can do to improve the world in which we live. I know I really spell poorly but I take solace in the fact that neither could Einstein. LOL
