Well, acually it will be two hours of fame. Sunday December 17th, while most of you will be watching the Packer Game, I, your humble blogger, will be given the reigns of 95.7 WRIT for two hours from 1 to 3 in the afternoon, as part of "My Radio Show"

I get to talk a little bit, and play my favorite Christmas songs. So in between the commercials of the game, give me a listen! (I hope I dont sound like a dork!)

OK, my favorite Christmas song is Joy to the World. I'm not much of a christmas person, so I don't know to many songs -- but if you want to take any 70's requests, let me know. I may run out of room.

Stu: Congratulations!!!!!!!

That is WAY cool.

I WILL be listening to you. I am thrilled that you have this opportunity. How much FUN!!!

I don't listen to Milwaukee radio anymore; what is WRIT's format?

Could you play the lovely Sarah McLachlan's "Wintersong" or "River" for me?

I'd appreciate the shoutout!

Have lots of fun!!!

They play 50's-60's and 70's, and Christmas music in Nov and December.

Im going to pick up the first bible code book, then I will feel qualified to comment!

Cool. It is a stirring read.

The Sarah songs are from her recent CD, but if you can play Xmas tunes, would they qualify? I suppose they would.
Again: have a great time. Do you have a radio "handle" yet?

Really now Stu. From 1-3 will there be any other people? Totally kidding.

You will be breaking history here -- the first Fox 6 Blogger with a voice - not a face to the blogging world. I CAN'T WAIT. It will be amazing.

GREAT job Stu, caught bits and pieces of it this afternoon. We went to brunch at the Boerner Botanical Gardens and made a Ginger Bread House afterwards and they had your station playing. Then in the car I tried listening, either my mom turned down the volum, or my dad kept hitting the button on the steering wheel that changed the station on accident AND everyone in the family kept wondering what my big deal was with the radio and the station. "I" just kept them guessing because they were all annoying me. Either way, I heard some really nice Christmas music. Nice selection - Hope you enjoyed your Birthday cake once you got home.

I am a 40 year old married father. I could be called very conservative in my political views. I love the Packers, Brewers, NASCAR, Badgers, UWM hoops. If I could be rich and not work, I would be working for a political campaign, open a Microbrew Pub and golfing. I listen to all types of music, and a closet Dead Head. I am also homebrewing beer. My Brewery is called Par Four Brewing Company. I like to read whenever I can, but I sometimes veg out on reality shows.
