Whether it's good or not, report had it that DRPA would be funding some projects around the new Stadium with "left over" revenue from toll increases on the bridge. The thought being that since the lower-income people (those who live in and around the bridge)have the inconvienence of the bridge and all of that extra traffic the community at large "owes" the something. I'm here to tell you, it's not true. The people who live around the bridge do so because that what their finances allow. Using toll money, to enhance and drive the economy in Chester, is one more case of taking from the suburbanites (especially N.J and regional travelers)) to fund low income communities. Are we not taxed enough?
