Say hi to my grandparents!

Hi-- I figure it's about time for me to create another blog entry. :) I'm putting the "wedding stuff" on hold for now-- because I need a break from it.

So... I have this idea: I'm going back to Kansas next week to visit family, and my grandparents have asked me to help them buy a computer with the internet while I'm there. (I'm sooo happy they've decided to give it a try!)  My grandmother has held out for years... even getting a *computer*... because she says she doesn't want a "mouse" in her house! (She actually wrote a book about our family history, using an old fashioned word processor!)  But anyway  -- I'm going to show them how to navigate the internet--- and show them this blog with their picture-- which I posted too. So when you get a second, you can say hi to them, and they'll read it.  -- It'll make their day! :)  By the way, my grandfather just had a birthday on Valentine's day. I took this picture of them in downtown Wichita, Kansas... at an annual city festival.

Hi Sheinelle, I don't see my comments yet so I will send this to you again! If it shows up later, just ignore it. I watch your show every morning and heard that you are from Kansas. My husband and I were born and raised in Kansas. Where and when did you live there? Is your wedding in Kansas or here? Do you like it better here or in Kansas?

Hi Sheinelle...it's Arthur! I wrote you and George on Christmas Day while you two were on the air and complimented him on his boots and tried to encourage you to eat more than your breakfast bar. Missed talking to you, but I watch the show every morning! Anyway, enjoy your trip and tell your grandparents hello for me!

HI MOM and POP. You have a great granddaughter with a very real and down to earth kind of personality. I always catch her speaking her mind. Especially on TRY IT BUY IT!!!:) Sheinelle, POP is TOOO COOL JUST CHILLIN!!!

Hello Sheinelle and a "Good Day from Philly" to your Grandparents.I work the midnight to 8am shift and I cant wait to get home and watch Sheinelle and Clayton in the morning.They put me in a relaxing state so I can go to sleep.So with most people "waking up" to you, I am going to bed :) Keep up the Good work, hope you will be in Philadelphia for a long time. Take care and hope you got your grandparents a real good computer.

Sheinelle's grandparents,
You must have been wonderful role models because your granddaughter has been a refreshing addition to the Good Day show. She is bright, cheery, and full of natural personality. I'm sure she will be a good teacher for you in learning about the internet. Do not get frustrated, listen, and remember, you cannot hurt the computer unless you pick it up and throw it! Have fun!

Sheinelle, show your grandparents your last blog, and they'll see how everyone can have problems with technology. I swore I sent a second message to the blog about yuor grandparents, and it ended up on the first one at the very bottom. I was just trying to forward a little humor to help lighten the frustration they may end up feeling. Tell them also that I have an 83 year old aunt who just started surfing the net. She actually is doing well, but sometimes she thinks she can hurt the computer when she makes mistakes.
