Wow... let's start by marking this day-- what is it? February 13, 2007: Sheinelle writes her first blog entry!!

I've been meaning to do this *forever,* but the days keep slipping by. I figured, why not start on Valentine's Day? Well--- it's almost Valentine's Day...

Many of you have emailed me nice things, or comments in general about the show, and I usually respond via email. I sincerely appreciate it.  Really... it's nice to know people are watching and enjoying the show. (It's not always easy waking up at 4 am!)

---Now though, I'm going to try using this "blog" concept... we'll see how it works.

I promise to keep you updated on some of my wedding plans.... because I know I've promised that too! Feel free to chat with me about anything else you want to talk about too-- it'll be our little forum for you to "speak your mind!"  (Within reason of course.) :)

The snow is falling now, so I'm going to run before I have to "slide" all the way home. (Hopefully it won't be too messy!) We'll have the latest in the morning.

I've included a picture of my fiance here--- so it makes this my first official "wedding" entry.  His name is Uche.  And I.... not surprisingly, think he's fabulous!  lol

Thanks for reading my first blog entry! Have a good day-- hope to see you in the morning. :)

Sheinelle

Sheinelle, we are glad you've entered the world of blogging. Blog to live. Live to blog. I don't know what I meant by that. Uche is cool--- I got a good vibe from him right away. I approve.

Happy Valentine's Day Sheinelle!! I work the 3rd shift so when you are waking up, I am doing the 11:30 to 7:30 am shift. I am able to catch the last hour of your show when I get home in the morn. You two are building a pretty good chemistry now. Sort of know when and what the others is going to say. Keep up the good work. Take care :)

You add a wonderful ingredient to the show. You ask great questions and you make good observations. Be encouraged! I'm proud of you!

Hi Sheinelle! We watch you every morning while we wait for our coffee to wake us up. We usually get a couple of good chuckles before we have to leave for work! Thanks for the laughs - don't change a thing! Tell Clayton, hello, too - we liked his Valentine pics!

Hi Sheinelle,
I watch the show every morning while I'm getting ready for work. I love to hear you guys talk about the controversial stuff cause your response is always real, and not what just looks good for the camera. I work for a hotel in center city. The other day someone called for the Sheinelle Jones/Oshea or Uche??:) I hope this is your wedding. Anyway Congrats .

BE BLESSED.

Sheinelle, I wanted you to know how much I enjoy your natural way of bringing the audience in to the newsroom. Both my husband and I watch Good Day all the time and really like the informality the team displays in presenting the news and other informative topics. So...while I am on the subject of information, maybe you could "ask the expert" a question for me that bugs me. Why do so many homes and other buildings have so-o much mold, mildew, grunge, or whatever it is, on the north sides of them? It's everywhere if you really look--on siding, roofs, fences, et cetera-- and it didn't use to be like that. I've been told it's part of global warming, or today's building materials attract it, or...and so on. I've tried to get Sue Serio interested in this topic, but I can't tell if she has read my curiosity. I know one thing for sure, the creepy-crawly stuff keeps those who powerwash in business! Thanks, if you read this. Also, congratulations on your engagement to a very handsome man! You seem to beam whenever you bring up the subject about him.

Sheinelle, I wanted to add a comment. Tell your grandmother it is okay to have this kind of a mouse in her house. It won't bite, eats nothing, and only requires a gentle, steady hand to move around. She just needs to remember to keep it on the pad to use it and not to try and place it on the screen! It won't work that way!!!
