Which NOAA weather radio is best for a home?  There seems to be a wide variety of them out there.  Bit confusing for those of us less knowledgeable about these things.  Maybe all the weather fans here can recommend some good ones.  I've searched online and just don't know what features are best, at a reasonable price. 

Do you think this is a safe blogging site?  By that I mean, many of us post photos of children and other details of our lives.  Anyone can read these blogs and see the photos, and you can bet there are some unsavory characters lurking and not posting.   If you believe this is a relatively safe site, why?  If you think it isn't, why?  Is it safer than other blog sites? 
 

Have any of you known people with unusual names? I loved the story Fox did about the Christmas family (last name Christmas). It reminded me of all the folks I've known or heard of with odd names.

In New Orleans, I went to school with a Sterling Silver and a Rusty (Russel) Nail. No yolk! There was also a Remember Lopresto there, well known because she ran for student council office. Her sister had a perfectly normal name. And I had a friend named Stormy, but his last name was ordinary.

Someone I know really well swears there is a Popp family in Jefferson City (many years ago); they had a girl named Lolly and a boy named Soda. Imagine that! Would you do that to your kid??

When I was younger, one of my first jobs was as a bank teller, and the women who trained me was Rose Rose. She had married into the last name Rose.
