Just a note, I do not like the Freedom blog name... It really sounds as if people are still upset over with what's been going on in the past few months and I don't see it. I know I don't feel it in my corner of the blog. But I do see it from other bloggers. Not everyone though. You seem a little mixed though.

I know that myself and other people were pissed about what was going on but it was because, all of this got way to trivial and should of never gotten as far as it did.

The reason for the blog is so the people who are into weather 150% don't have to look at unrelated weather comments.

They made it perfectly clear how they don't like it. And we made it perfectly clear that weather does not have to be the only topic! Although, I tame myself in Rob's blog, that's what the blog is supposed to be about in the long run.


Then it esclated. We did not feel that it was important to repetitively post weather alerts. You have even stated your discontent. That was to be expected. Sure

But it stopped and some people just want to keep running with the ball! It is very evident. Nothing should ever esclate like this, in this type of forum, chatting publicly.

We are all here for the same reason. Most for weather. Some for Entertainment. Yadda.. Hope you understand

I'll buy into some of your explanation but not all.

Yes, I complained about NWS alerts like many but never ever did I tear into anyone personally on the blog. That is what has many upset and has caused the blog to split in my opinion. I chose to stay at Rob's blog because I like Rob, I like David and Jim as well. I thought it was unfair of individuals to attack Rob like they did a little while back. Things happen. Rob is a very busy man and has many many obligations. He can't keep them all. None of us can. But people chose to rip into him on the public blog rather then asking him through email.

That is just my take on things. Am I mixed, no. I just choose to stay at Rob's blog and that's where I'll be at along with my email at odlesm_33@yahoo.com and my myspace page. :)

This blog was created as sort of a joke. I didn't expect to get more then 2 or 3 comments. I'm ahead of the game. LOL

I think I accidentally deleted you and Lou and 3 others from myspace page...

I like to think of the positive things that Rob has done for me. 2 biggies come to mind.

1. The blog party. I would not have met the group of great people I met there if Rob didn't have the blog party. :)

2. He gave me a shoutout on the air the day before I left McGuire. That meant more to me then most know. McGuire was not a very good assignment for me and was very nice of him to work that into the newscast.

What a day here. 86 was the high. 91 expected tomorrow. 94 was expected today so if it's off by 8 tomorrow I'll be happy. :) Need more rain and storms!!
