I'm writing this post to comment on blogger "movealready" who reacted to someone who called dog-fighting a cultural activity.
Black people, are not animals although we have been said to be only 3/5 human, that is just not true in any era in history. I am compelled to post this blog by the insulting comparison made by "movealready" of black people to animals.
Dogs are creatures who fight to decide social status. Dogs nature is to fight.
I own 3 dogs. I do not allow them to fight though they try to settle their differences that way. I don't agree with dog fighting. However the way a civilized society should punish such activity is not to be barbaric, and destructive in your own self-righteous manner, seeking to destroy the life of a black man who has lots of money. Parents need to be responsible for their own children's moral upbringing. Everyone makes mistakes some bigger than others.
Stop the lynch mob against this black man . His time, energy, and money can be re-directed rather than wasted. Michael Vick is a part of American economy, and society.
I think that Michael should be directed to do community service in animal shelters, and with veterinarians so that he can learn compassion. Michael Vick should also be compelled to give generously to animal shelters.
Don't destroy his life, he has not killed a man, nor threatened a mans' life. He is a man, and does not deserve to have everything he has worked for which is healthy, and positive destroyed. The animal abuse charges are not worth that. Parents what kind of lesson are you teaching your children?
You "movealready" seem like a vicious unforgiving person.
Don't be confused by TV shows, and movies that you see depicting animals as kinder, and gentler than humans.
I love my pets, and would do so many silly things for them, and with them...most of which they would not appreciate. They like warmth in winter, and coolness in summer, shelter from rain and snow, food and water. My pets are comfort loving creatures, who rip any cloth bedding to shreds, and for whatever reason pee on it too. My pets don't appreciate April fresh or mountain fresh scents. I have to say that if I had lots of money my pets and I would live cushy lives.
Michael Vick I don't know why you chose to bank roll dog fighting, it was outlawed in the UK in the 1820's I think. Some may not know that the pitbull dog is from the UK the dog was bred there. Abuse of dogs was a very cultural thing there based mostly on superstitions.
Go to the library people! Look it up on the web!
May GOD bless you Michael Vick. May someone try to teach, and show you the compassion they want you to have, and may you learn to be compassionate.
I had not ever heard of Mr. Imus before this verbal incident, in which he insulted the female basketball team of Rutgers Univ.
That was an insult, however I don't believe that any reasonably intellegent person took what Imus said seriously. I think that if so many people were'nt talking the incedent to death most of us would have forgotten about it.
Mr Imus has been suspended from his job for a time, and has made public apologies, and plans to make private apologies in person with the young women and their coach.
I don't know those women and I didn't think of them as "nappy headed BLEEP's" just because Mr. Imus said it I don't think that Mr. Imus should be fired from his job, but I do think that all of this drama should be brought to a quick close.
I will end this blog here by saying that all the activists such as the Rev. Al Sharpton, should be as vocal and energetic about the insulting lyrics in rap music which is, by the way, called "culture" or should I say, "a culture". I'm so tired of people defending this self hating, self destructive garbage. I see what that "culture" is doing in Philly.
Today, as I watched the 5pm "FOX" news cast, I saw that this "menu foods" poisoned pet foods tragedy had almost touched me and my household. I use 'Ol Roy dry dog food from Walmart. However, I in Christ Jesus say a prayer which goes like this..."Dear Lord we're truely thankful for these and all our blessings, for the nourishment, and strengthening of our minds bodys and souls, which we recieve in Christ Jesus, Amen.
I am so glad that I buy the 50lb bag of "Ol Roy (complete nutririon) dog food. The Bible says "Let everything that has breath praise Lord! My pets and I offer our condolences.
I have been thinking about the "blog"; About how people tell everything on their minds, concerning...this or that. Why do we blog? To blow off steam? To express ourselves? To edify someone elses thoughts? Because someone "out-there" needs to know what we know?
I have decided to blog because it is a "pool of communication" (although mostly annomous). All except professionals at there jobs use a pseudonym as identification. lol As if learning who we are is so impossible to anyone who may want to know, that we are safe to say what we want, since we will never be found out. lol
Back to the conspiracy element of the blog; I don't know of the reason why we blog, it seems to be a sort of socialist form of communication. I know that the American government won't need to tap peoples phones eavesdropping on private conversations if everyone blogs. I haven't yet tried googling a blog-topic to see if I can find every blog concerning one issue or another in one place. Hmmmmm...I'm going to stop here, maybe start another blog about something or someone else tomorrow. Maybe I'll come back to this blog with more on my conspiracy theory concerning the "blog".
