You will wake up Sunday and put on the NEWS and hear "Barry" headed our way and while this is true it is not what you think.

We are in store for at most a nice Spring Rainstorm....nothing more, nothing less.

Many blogs will warn of impending doom, um NO......not even close!

What will we see.......

Rain beginning tommorow mid-day through tommorrow night becoming more intermittent Monday Morning.

Total Rainfall 1-2" Locallized 3"

Winds 15-25 inland 20-35 in the coastal areas.

Very little if any thunderstorm activity.

We are not getting anything close to a Hurricane or a Tropical Storm here....it is a Spring Rainstorm.

Now that I said that prepare for doom.......LOL.......I am only an amateur and could be wrong! I just wanted to get my forecast on record.

Flooding of local area creeks, streams, and low-lying areas is certainly possible.

Generally 1.50-3 inches of rain with areas of 3-6 inches of rain possible.

PRESSURE...992 MB.

This means that if it holds together, some part of our area will a period of sustained winds in the 35 to 40 mph range. Sustained winds. So wind speeds of 25-30 mph with gusts to 45-50 mph (higher at the shore) is not out of the realm of possibility.

In terms of a tornado threat...very isolated but around 2%. The normal risk is less than 1% when we have t-storms around the area. Thwy will be weak, if any form.

5% risk is down in Carolina where the best tornado parameters are. Actually there is a slight chance of an isolated moderately strong tornado down there.

Garcia gave up another HR on a 83 mph fastball..lol. Rowand had an outfield assist on a guy at 2nd, and a sliding catch right after. 2-0 SF bottom 2nd.

The reason why I blog here is because of some really decent folk including you.
