My brush with Lambeau

Being in the media comes with perks.

As one of our beloved photographers put it, "You get to the front row, behind the scenes and into places no one else gets to go"...

... Unless we go to Lambeau.

Every time I've been up to Green Bay for a game, I've been in the parking lot, I've been in the concession ring... I've even been down to the Media room where they serve delicious catering for us hard working crews. But I've never been able to sit out there during a game. To sit among the sea of green and gold and watch our boys play. (*Sigh*).

I did sneak out there to catch a play, though! It was glorious. Maybe if I save a couple dozen paychecks I'll be able to afford tickets of my own!

I def cannot afford a ticket. I can't imagine how expensive they are for the superbowl but I better start saving now if I plan on doing that in the next 40 years :p

I've been to 3 games at Lambeau in the past. There is not a bad seat at all in the house. My first game had me sitting all the way in the top row. Last game was 2 years ago and I was goal line mid way and boy that was great also. I can't wait to see when my husband will get me tickets again!

For real 500 dollars and counting, I could have bought a ticket a week in advance to the tune of 300 hello?? Fortunately my sister took me to my first game 2 years ago and it was awesome and FREEZING! We played Detroit, Joey was the Lions quarterback and WE WON! one of those last minutes exciting FAVRE throws, where everyone holds their breath and prays please God...I was on the 2nd row I didn't like being in that row cause I kept having to ask what happened, I would rather be up about in the 5 row. I was behind the Lions bench which was kinda cool, howbeit would have been better had it been on the Packer side :) I saw on Ticket King I thing they are charging 79 dollars for the parking lot. So...what you can stand out in the Parking lot and freeze your booty off and NOT see the game, only hear cheering. Maybe someday you will get to make it into the game in the meantime keep up the great work and STAY warm it is going to be FREEZING Sunday :/

Renee_Banot i agree with what you are sying i would like to do the samething you do but i can't do just that but i know you like going around the stadum
