Let's stop all the crying and screaming over Scooter Libby.  Everyone knew it was coming.  And I guarantee he will receive a full pardon before Bush leaves office.  Quite frankly, with his approval rating so low and the fact that he is a lame duck, he has nothing to lose.  The thing that really ticks me off is Hillary complaining about it.  I'm surprised that anyone was still left in the prison system once Billy Boy left office.  In case you need a reminder, here is a list of everyone that Clinton pardoned during his term.  If you want to print it, it is 22 pages long.  The section for everyeone he pardoned on 1/20/01 (his last day in office) is about 8 pages.

I wouldn't compare any of the pardons of Clinton's with the future pardon of Libby. Libby endangered a CIA operative. Along with covering for Rove. We should be outraged. Yet again, another example of Bush abusing his power. And most of you who support him are so brainwashed, there's no hope.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news to the liberal population, but the federal prosecuter is no different that the prosecutor in the Duke LaCrosse team deal. The prosecutor knew before any of the dog and pony show started that Richard Armitage was the leaker. So why did he go forward with the trial? Typical Democrat garbage, try to trip him up with 6 hours of grilling in front of a Senate hearing for the purpose of trying to make up another "Bush administration crisis." He was not found guilty of leaking her identity, he was found guilty of obsructing justice. I dare you liberals to read this news story on MSNBC. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14533384/site/newsweek/

By the way, wasn't there a former President that wagged his finger at the American audience and say under oath that he "never had sex with that woman Monica Lewinski?" Oh and by the way, if you want to talk about obstructing justice, how about him going to his staff and telling them to lie?!

Clinton never committed purgery. I'm not going to get into detail. In addition, he shouldn't have been on trial for that in the 1st place. Libby put a CIA operative in danger by leaking information. He also lied to protect Rove. And he'll get pardoned eventually. Your article has nothing to do with the arguement. It would be like me asking you where the WMD's are at!

Clinton was found guilty in federal court of contempt of court for giving "intentionally false testimony" in the Paula Jones case. It was a plea bargain wherein he admitted that he lied and they didn't charge him with perjury. In essence, he admitted to giving perjured testimony by definition and the court used a lower charge to convict him.

I will also add to the list of folks here reminding you that Scooter Libby did not leak any information regarding the identity of a CIA operative (who, BTW, was no longer involved in covert work and thus not protected by law). That was Richard Armitage, who was a career bureaucrat without ties to the administration. Charging him would not have appeased the political crowd.
