Where's Goddard?

Usually when Goddard is off, Scott fills in for him.  Now Andre is doing nights and Scott is mornings.  I heard Andre say Dick was on a much deserved vacation and I'm sure, with his seniority he gets quite a bit. BUT....it seems like he's been gone a long, long, time. 

Does anyone know when and if Goddard is coming back?  Could he be sick and in the hospital?

Good evening. Dick took a 2 1/2 week vacation and is scheduled to return next Wednesday, June 13th. Scott is now at the helm on the morning show (and isn't he doing such a superlative job with Melissa?) As for me, I approached FOX brass at the beginning of the year and asked they would be open to my moving off the morning show. After nearly twenty years on the program, it was time for a new challenge and I was ready... and thankfully, management was able to honor my request.

Thanks, Andre. Are you staying on nigts permanently? That would be great--gotta tell you, you have the nicest speaking voice I've ever heard.

I watch Fox 8 weather all the time. Andre, It will be nice to see you on the evening weather with Dick. Bet he is enjoying his 2 weeks off.

Well I'm happy he's coming back. I've been watching Dick since before I could talk. My grandma told me his name was the first word I said!

Yes folks, Dick is back. And its true his long vacation is well deserved at his age as well as for the hard work he has done all these decades. And it is good to see Andre do the weather in the evening. I like Andre as a weatherman as well as a preacher. I visited two churches in the last five years where he was the guest speaker.

yeah i hardly see dick goddard. well i have been only seeing andre again. what is the dael here. i only watch channel 8 news when he is on. otherwise i turn to another station. i hope you bring dick back soon permantly. ty
