After the NHL Draft, we see a few changes in the Coyotes for 08-09.

We picked up Jokinen for two defensemen (Ballard and Boynton).  While that will increase our salary liability by about $5 million, it is a step in the right direction.

Picking Mikkel Boedker as our first pick is a great step as well.

As we can clearly see, the front office is trying to plan for a white out this season!

My hubby, son and I watched part of the draft. I'll miss Ballard. Im real excited about this next season. My family vowed to go to more games this season. We heard that Coyotes could have to leave Arizona if those seats don't start selling. A step in the right direction is just what we need.

Maybe some famous black players may consider the sport, providing there is a 'white out' this season.
