Just when you thought Government couldn't intrude more....

A few years ago there was a splinter group of citizens calling for the secession of Arizona from the Union.  This is right up their alley:

I read today where the U.S. 9th Circuit Court will hear a case involving Arizona's Illegal Immigrant Employment Law.  Apparently some think a Federal Government should do things a State Government should have a say in.

148 years ago, a group of states decided State's Rights took priority over the Federal Government.  A four year war ensued pitting brother against brother on U.S. soil.

This is exactly the same thing.  Does a state have a right to govern itself without having a federal government jumping in and saying they have rule of authority over it?  What if the federal government said no one could hire any undocumented alien?  Would a state try and overrule the federal government?  Should they?  Does a state have the right to enact and enforce it's own laws?

If we, as a state, cannot enact and enforce our own laws, why does each state have it's own government?  Why doesn't the U.S. Congress enact all state's laws as federal laws and abolish all forms of state government?  They can't do much worse in the finance department.

If Arizona does remove itself from the U.S. Government, we could print our own money and it would be worth just as much as the paper it is printed on.  At least an Arizona dollar would be worth more than a U.S. dollar.

"Powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people." The tenth amendment to the Constitution.

"The judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States, by citizens of another state, or by citizens or subjects of any foreign state." The eleventh amendment to the Constitution. This amends article III section 2.

Thanks, Gold.

Explain that to the 9th Circuit.

Definitely important info Goldbug. I doubt it is permitted to teach the Constitution in public schools anymore. The ignorance of the last several generations on basic Constitutional principles is why government/courts can pull this off consistently. I doubt people understand that three branches of government exist much less their purpose.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Wasn't this case upheld by the Arizona Supreme Court? Isn't it the beloved ACLU who took it to the 9th Circus? If I'm right this may have to go to the US Supreme Court to get cleared up.

I hope secession isn't the current plan, I would hate to see another civil war. Although, something is going to have to give.

Gold, you might be thinking about Prop 200 which was dragged through every court in the land with our own Gov leading the way.

Also, if we hope to clean up this mess via the ballot box vs. civil war, we need: (1) to form a U.S. corporation to manufacture voting machines, and (2) to train our own government representatives starting in kindergarten up through PhDs—stop getting these bottom feeders from the farms that currently raise them.

I am beginning to believe, changing this countries direction via the ballot box is futile. Until we have an organization with a clear and defined intent revolution is like pushing a rope.

How is it the 9th Circus is hearing Arizona's employment law if not to overturn a lower courts decison and wouldn't that court have to be the Arizona Supreme Court?

U.S. 9th Circuit Court apparently can over rule Congress, th Supreme Court and the President......rather strange what?????

How can so many judges be set so high with such low ratings pertinent to the United States Constitution?? ..... along with their side-kick ACLU: (Anti-Constitutional-Law- Underlings)
Must be a 'King's Court' in America!
