We've got Piestewa Freeway, Piestewa Peak, now we have to hear ad nauseum about every memorial service that her people decide to have in her name.
While I can sympathize with her family's loss, I am getting tired of all of the things that are going on in her name being news!
It's almost like she was the only Native American and/or the only Arizonan who has given her life in this war. How about all the other Arizonans, surely some of which were Native Americans who we never hear of? Many families are living with the terrible loss of a loved one in the war. They don't have roads named after them, peaks renamed for them or annual memorials on and on in their name!
Let's get over Laurie Piestewa and let her rest in peace!

Entertainment
Since when does the invasion of privacy, the destruction of families, the degrading of individuals, become entertainment? This abomination has to be the ultimate in horrid programming that the powers that be in Fox broadcasting has every foisted on the viewing public.
For decency's sake, please send this thing to the trash barrel! You ought to be ashamed to ever put something as inexcusable as this on the air!

I see by the news (Fox10, of course) that a Pit Bull was found shot 5 times in an alley.
The only problem I have with that is that the shooter wasted 4 bullets! One, well placed would have done the job, and he would have 4 more for the next 4 Pit Bulls he runs across running loose!
In my humble opinion, the Pit Bull is one breed of dog that has no right to live. The entire breed should be euthanized, and any future generations outlawed! The Rottweiler runs a very close second!
Now I'll hear from the bleeding heart animal lovers. But before you rate me as some kind of sadistic animal hater, be informed that I have owned dogs and cats for most of my life, and am now happy to be the caregiver of an adorable 9 month old Shih-Tzu who relishes in the fact that he has both my wife and I in the palm of his little paw!
