No, this blog is not about May Weather, but Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya May 5th fight. Boxing is the kind of sport that is not in the news by season or almost every week.  Boxing is the kind of sport that many people watch because there is a big name and perhaps two Millionaire  boxers going at it for big time money. All of us are very familiar with the preliminaries before a big fight, the contenders go to the weigh- in and talk trash, they go to Press conference and talk trash. Then they beat their brains out and after the fight they keep talking more trash. The good thing about this fight coming this Saturday, is that both fighters besides talking lots of trash also have records to back up all that trash talking. Let me start with " The Golden Boy" Oscar, which has a very impressive record in 6 different divisions. The Mexico-American Oscar De La Hoya should hang his gloves and keep making money like a promoter, (not as a singer PLEASE!) because that is where he is going to be more successful.  What is he trying to accomplish? Come on Oscar what is it that you want?

Now lets focus on the thirty seven and zero, 24 kos (Mayweather).  Mayweather just like Oscar haved had many big fights and proclaims that he does not fight for the money but for the enjoyment of beating someone that thinks is better than he is.  Futhermore this two, (like baseball Player Barry Bonds) are just going for the record and not  for the millions(so the poor boys said). I'm not ranting just simply saying that we all now know how it all  works,we just going to get the PPV and go and pay $100.00 tickets like we used to. DON'T THINK SO! And like always we have to make a prediction. People in general don't like round by round predictions just a fast outcome.  And mine is !

THE GOLDEN BOY BY UNANIMOUS DECISSION.

Would like to hear what is yours? (TOM, KEITH)

I noticed that everytime FOX-35 show the NBA playsoffs news about the Orlando Magic,

they  only show Grant Hill and Brian Hill. Too much Hill is not bad, but how come other

players are not shown in close up talking. Is it because Brian is the Coach and Grant is

the Captain?  I'm asking because I don't really know. No, I'm not making observations

because Mr. Ramaker made an observation to  Mr. Forester.

FIRST YEAR ORLANDO MAGIC FAN

It was reported  that Sanjaya Malakar was recently in New York and everywhere

he went he was treated like a Celebrity. A feat that some New York actors spend years

to achieve.  The 17 year old former contestant from the FOX network program

"AMERICAN IDOL"  told the press that the many fans want photos, hugs and

autographs and he would like to reciprocate, but he can't . Not surprisingly Mr. Malakars'

time as a contestant came last week at American Idol when he was eliminated facing

Lakisha and Chris. The viewers voted and decided not to keep him one more week, they

felt that  the other contestant had more talent. Now the question is what kept Sanjaya for

so long in the  competition? Was it, confidence, Carisma, talent?  I know, that Sex

appeal that big movie Stars exude?(or was it the hairdos?) Whatever it is the Teddy bear

like manner said in an interview that he now not only want to be recognized as a singer

but actor and model. Furthermore, sources said that he was invited to a dinner at the

White House, New York Governor i came up to Sanjaya and told him that

he was a fan and that he had voted (for him????)  Sanjaya also visited the set of David

Letterman and like a rocket he is going up fast. Lets hope what goes up so fast, doesn't

come down fast also. What do you think will the child like manner CELEBRITY will stay,

will he go to the top and stay on top?

I just read somewhere that  a viewer is complaining about Simon Cowell,

because he suposedly made a facial expression when constestant Chris

Richardson wanted to give his condolences to the VA TECH MASSACRE right

after his performance last night. How sensitive is America? is getting that now

everything someone says gets be analized and broken down to a microscopic

way.  Come on lighten up, I bet no body saw when Philp was singing, that Cowell

was joking and pulling his female co-host nose. Oh, no.... a viewer don't like

something ina wonderful Tv Program like American Idol and all of the sudden

they want to associate it with a massacre that don't have nothing to do with

it. We all have our opinions on who we like and make predictions who is

going to win. Mr. Cowell always is being controversial and is his opinion to

tell any contestan what he thinks but that does not mean that right away

you gonna e-maill the station and complaing for a facial expresion

What do you think should the producers fire Simon Cowell for facial Expresions?.

I don't think so Come on enough is enough!

We all waiting to see who burried BONES tonight, I can't wait

to see whats going to happen. Bones is so beautiful and the

preview is showing her looking like in distress, while the guy

is running in a deserted place. My only problem is that right after

Bones is American Idol and I for a second don't want Jordin Sparks

to be in the elimination category, yes I want Jordin to face Melinda.

And of course I want Sanjaya to stay one more week at least until

he pushes out Blacke. Have you noticed that Philp is always choosen

to be eliminated and he still there. I wonder why? WHO BURIED BONES

FIRST AND THEN WHO IS OUT OF AMERICAN IDOL.

Seven Puerto Rican students and two VA TECH Professors returned back to the Island

after the tragedy at Blacksburg VA.  UNFORTUNATELY, two other hispanic students were

killed in this insensible massacre. One from Peru, identified as a 21 year old majoring

in International Relations; and a 26 year old majoring in enginneering. The wife of

Juan R. Ortiz (26) (also a student at VA. TECH.) said that everything is being done to

bring her husbands' body back to Puerto Rico. There was no word yet on how many

other hispanics died or were wounded in this tragedy. Also added that the Puerto Rican

community mourns together the loss of so many inocent students in this

"DAY OF SADNESS."

"VA TECH GUNMAN IDENTIFIED AS A LONER, TROUBLED STUDENT FROM

SOUTH KOREA RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MASSACRE OF 30 INOCENT PEOPLE."

A day later, sadness, tragedy connect many inocent Families that once again have

to deal with asking themselves Why?....  How?  How come someone did not

communicated about strange incomprehensible behavior. What I don't really

understand is why in the midst of a terrible tragedy there is always someone( connected

to the tragedy) that steps forward and takes position to refuse to release any information

about the perpetrator's writings or personal details. Futhermore they cite and point out

("PRIVACY LAWS') that shadow the important  things us, the public should know.

ONE DAY LATER.

MY FAMILY PRAYERS GO TO THOSE

WHO DIED AT VA TECH.

I certanly, don't want to be redundant telling everyone I know,

to hurry up and file your taxes before the deadline. But if you

know you are going to be late there is many things you

could do to at least stay away from penalties.  First get the FORMS (where?) at the local

Library. Your Local Library have all the forms and if they ran out they allways

keep master copies to make you a copy. Secondly fill out all the info,(but I don't

know how to do it!) form instructions, internet, tax preparer friend or family member

should help you if you encounter some problems filling out the forms. Oh! and

the CD"s that   are sold for only taxes, (don't have one!)  (borrow one?).

Finally, go to your Post Office and mail them. But if you are like many

people I know, start with going to the Local Library and ask for the extention

Form, (4868 AUTOMATIC TIME) they are very helpful locating the kinds of tax forms you

want, and all come with instructions. Getting an extention is allways good if you

procrastinated.

HAPPY FILING

In  America in the 1920s, African Americans faced hatred and encountered prejudice,

to the point that they were told where to live, where to socialize and where to eat.

(THIS BIGOTRY WAS CALLED IN THE SOUTH THE JIM CROW LAWS).Limitations and barriers put upon by a racist society that was still ignorant that a men,

could be yellow, black or any other color and it did not matter as long as that man

had the dicipline to achieve greatness.  Lets take for example: the life of Jack Roosevelt Robinson,   (Jackie Robinson):

After 1942 Jackie Robinson came back from the United States Army to play in a "only Blacks players league" more often then called ( The City Monarchs)" negro Leagues".

Subsequently, the next year Robinson broke the color barrier by being selected

to play with the Montreal Royals. Futhermore, in the summer of 1947 Jakie Robinson

started playing with the Brooklyn Dodgers.  Eventhough his (all white) teammates

did not wanted him to play in the team- that year Mr. Robison became Rookie

of the year! Can you imagine, how can you excell when everyone is against you?

But he did, eight years later with his help the Dodjers defeated the New York

Yankees to take the  world Series. The question now is, does  the Jim Crow Laws still exists nowadays. silently? yeah!...... I think so!  Well, if someone wants to be a racist thats their proagative! just don't display or propagate it to publicly hurt others. You might just be hurting the next man that want to achieve greatness, or the next Jackie Robinson? (And he might as well be White,Mexican, Puerto Rican,Jewish,or a girl.)

Don't get hit by a car:

Because you will blame it on this date(Friday the 13th)

Don't get attacked by a shark:

Lets be realistic, stay away from shak infested waters

and you won't be attacked!

Don't get bitten by a venemous snake:

Because once again you only gonna blame the fact that

today is for many people an unlucky day.

Dying in a Tornado today:

First of all, if you did not tuned in to Kristi Powers or (Glenn Richards) weathercast you

could blame it on Friday the 13th, But if you did  tuned in, you will notice that

today was a beatiful day in Central Florida and anything that did happened

negatively was merely pure coincidence or merely everyday news, not

a Friday the 13th reminder. (this article is to be air tonight at 10 p.m. news) yeah! right......

There was a time that I blamed Friday the 13th for something that happened to me!

but it was not today!..............
