Q:  Why did John McCain select a female, Alaskan VP?

Female, Alaskan VP? Why?

A:  Oil.

Remember George W. Bush and his son, George H. W. Bush?  What about H. W. Bush’s Grandfather?  Yep, him too.  (He helped build the privately owned Fed – those are the people who make and distribute our currency…that’s right…a private corporate entity – that is, not an agent of our government in any way.)

Just add McCain and there’s George Bush v4.0

I believe the Bush Regime is to Enron as a McCain Government will be to Alaskan oil drilling and environmental concerns.

B:  Hillary’s supporters are still uneasy without her in the running and he thinks adding a woman to the ticket couldn’t hurt.

As for Mr. Obama – I’d like to suggest he Keep the “Change” as he still feels like smoke and mirrors to me.  Where is the money going to come from, Senator Obama?  Refresh me...what is your foreign policy, again?

We need Hillary –

Period.

Peace ~

Uhhhhh, you do realize that McCain is OPPOSED to drilling in ANWR right? (much to my dismay)

We should be drilling that area like there's no tomorrow. Also remember that she left the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission in order to expose her own parties corruption for lobbyists.

We DON'T Need Hilary's failed ideas on Healthcare. Nationalized healthcare would be a disaster. Do you really want to trust the government to be in charge of your medication? YIKES!

Wow, this guy is assuming an aweful lot of stuff. You know what they say about assuming stuff. He's not even aware Hillary is out of contention. You want a woman to vote for, there are fewer more qualified than McCains selection. A very smart choice and he will pick up the Clinton votes. And you thought McCain was an idiot!

Sarah Palin comes from blue collar roots. She is not in the pocket of "big oil", and McCain is not in the pocket of "big oil", you left wingers will say anything to try and discredit a good and honest person. Sarah Palin has been the Governor of the State of Alaska for 2 years, she has more EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE, than Obama, Biden and McCain combined.
So she there for has way more experience than the Dems candidate for President. So if you question her experience, you are going to need to question Obama's as he will need an owner’s manual just to walk into the Oval Office

McCain is the one to vote for. As for his running mate, I think it was a wise choice. Unlike Biden who has his hands in dirty politics, someone has to clean up Bush's mess. It won't be Obama & Biden that's for sure. Bank on it!

And one more thing. It's about time that we all start on relying on our own natural resources. Not depending on other Countries! I am all for drilling and finding our own resources. You do not have to push your ideals here. Hillary is just a mess!

And why does everyone fixate on her having 5 kids? I'm not old enough to remember Bobby Kennedy's campaign, but I checked and he had 10 kids (and one born later) and I would bet that no national shows spent hours discussing whether he could do the job even with 10 or 11 kids.... and I watched Fox News for at least 1/2 hour where they talked about nothing else but the 5 kids and took callers opining on whether a mom of five can work full time. Duh. There are millions of working moms.

Will she pose for Playboy if they loose the election? That is the respect she has from me after her pit bull with lipstick speech.

Me, personally, I don't like Ms. Pitbull Palin. Her voice alone gives me a headache. And for the serious issues, her ideals and mine are totally opposite. Just because she's a woman as I am, I would not vote for her because of her gender. If any of Hillary supporters support this woman because she is a female and not because of what Hillary stands for, than I say Kudos to McCain. He realized that some woman are naive and stupid. But, I give Hillary supporters more credit than that.

Just imagine, if McCain did get into office and with his health problems, this Palin lady would be the acting President. That is one scary thought. God Help US ALL!!!

McCain's motivation was to find the finest pure thinking young Republican superstar to lead America into the future.

Obama's motivation in picking his VP was to find a stooge who would stick his foot in his mouth even more than Obama does.

Folks, we need to get some facts straight....first of all everyone wants us to "keep drilling", well guess what? That's the same kind of thinking that got us into this mess. We only have enough oil in the ground in the U.S. to last about 40 years, so what are we doing? Shifting the problem to our children and grandchildren, while we act like everything is well. Pretty selfish if you ask me.We need long term policy, not shortsighted solutions! John McCain has consistently voted against alternative energy development. He would rather offer huge tax breaks to the oil companies. Moreover, most of what I read here is women voting for Palin, not McCain. I thought we were electing a President. LOL I guess when women vote for Palin because she's a woman, that not sexist? Bull that's just putting emotions before good sense!
