Hope or Hype?

"Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on Friday denounced inflammatory remarks from his pastor, who has railed against the United States and accused its leaders of bringing on the Sept. 11 attacks by spreading terrorism." Full article.

Want proof that the U.S. DOES promote terrorism?

See Zeitgeist: The Movie (complete, streamed) here. 2 hr 3 min.

Part 1: Religion
Part 2: 9/11
Part 3: The Fed and the U.S. Banking cartel

The only reason he denounced it, is because he has been under such public scrutiny for not doing so until now.

Second Zeitgeist: The Movie is nothing but propaganda

Yes, if he was a 'complete' candidate he would be easy to vote for. He would have denounced it and been done with it. Instead, he waits to see which way the wind is blowing and says, "Yeah, that's what I meant."

re: Second Zeitgeist - could be true...does no harm to inform oneself of ALL of the facts and available fodder though. Then the individual can make a 'complete and informed decision' when they vote.

Hey Style: You really think the U.S. banking system is different now than the banking cartels the U.S. broke away from by seeking independence from England?

You think that Christianity is new and different from all the other western religions of the past?

You think 9/11 and Enron were just 'par for the course' for our nation and not at all contrived to control the U.S.'s citizenry?

Hmmm...you must imbibe some killer government issued prescription painkillers before you begin your day...

B.E. Note: How dare someone say; statements such as those with overtones of hate and discrimination with incentives to others to overthrow a government in order to make things better, is most common in a lot of black people churches? How dare someone say that “maybe” most don’t understand the message in what’s being said?
I didn’t know it was a better way to say. To hell with United States Government those horrible white people who are keeping “black people” from advancing. This minister did not say groups of people who are called the K.K.K. are blocking black people from advancing. He Said the United States Government and its white people are blocking black people from advancing. This government is called the U.S.K.K.K. of A who is blocking N******* from advancing.
Now I asked myself who in their right mind that is currently in a high position with the United States Government, would sit through such discussing filth. Most of all they keep returning to be feed week after week more of the same. Then go before millions of people only to announce how proud they are to have this minister mentor them. Also to worship this minister for everything he stands for. Wow! Now Obama wants to distance himself from his minister “only because he wants to be President of the U.S.K.K.K. of A his minister spoke of; that taught him to despised this very government.
So with this said; I worry. Was Obama during his term as a Governor and Senator
attending this church? Listening to this sermon patting his colleagues on the back as he performs his daily task? Again, was lady “O” aware of

Again, was lady “O” aware of all this before she pushed to
support Obama though this election? This kind of talk truly, must have the great Dr. Martin L. King turning in his grave. It makes me feel like someone just attended a Hitler’s Convention and is trying to get in a position of power to carryout his Commander’s bidding. That kind of talk and wishes to me has no place in our form of government from anyone and those who attend constant meetings like this do not belong in our government serving the wonderful citizens of the United States of America. We cannot talk about ending the spread of hate and racism in our great country. We shouldn’t attend meetings constantly that excite the spread of such talk, if we are working hard in this country to put a stop to this crap. May yours and my God always bless us and our country always.

It really amazed me that if Rev Wright would have been a white pastor making racist comments about the blacks, Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson would be all over the news protesting. My how the tables have turned. Where are those two loud mouth racists now?
They are just as bad as Rev Wright. I like how it is OK for Blacks to make racist comments about whites, but the whites are not allowed to make comments about the blacks.
Boy how the tables have turned.
HHMMMMMMM.......
