Your summer just got a little bit hotter...
The Daily News is revealing the men and women who have been named 2008 Sexy Singles this year...and GUESS WHO'S MADE THE CUT?
John B., Shawnette and yours truly.
Today marked the first edition of a 4-day "SEXY SINGLES SPRED" - and SOMEHOW I was chosen for the cover. (J. Armstrong...from the Daily News... NEVER even called me to give me a heads up!) I got a call from my BFF this morning...saying, "Yo! I didn't know you were sexy?" And that's when I replied, " Uhhh..What are you talking about?"
Only to log on http://www.philly.com/... and find.... http://www.philly.com/philly/entertainment/sexy_single
s/ weird huh?
I mean I did it "for fun...a joke...a good laugh...because I was nominated BY WHO KNOWS WHO???..." but I never thought it'd blow up to be this big of a deal. :)
I mean really who could resist saying no to... a fun photoshoot in AC with hair and makeup stylists, and a bunch of cool clothes to pick from???
So now what... I sit back and get made fun of by my family (especially my dad) and friends...and then I wait for the spread that has John B and Shawnette to drop...and DUH I make fun of them. LOL....

It's considered the "IT" party of the year in Philly (hosted by PHILADELPHIA STYLE)... and guess who got an invite? The NKOTB!
The event is a chic destination for fashion high rollers and the who's who of Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley. From the impeccably dressed to the barely there outfits, dancers, bars, and more... if you're about fashion (or at least have great taste) you were AT THIS EVENT!
Now the event was awesome (kudos to my girly Jen-Fred who made an appearance as well!!) But c'mon... the best part was being able to play dress up...I mean... I had to make sure I looked half-way decent.
SO I WENT SHOPPING! ((Note: the outfit was bought the DAY OF!!! I do not recommend this...ever.))
Where to ladies? NICOLE MILLER @ the Bellevue.
All I have to say is that with the help of my girl "Carly" I left the store with a purple number from their new collection and felt like a million bucks. **Carly if you're reading this honey- You're the Best!!!
Pictures will be uploaded later. Thank you MDS!

I have a complete bias because I'm in love with Angelina Jolie (she's my alter-ego); but no really...the movie "WANTED" is AMAZING! I just saw it yesterday and want to see it again!!!
Well-written...nicely shot/edited...fantastic.
It reminded me of the "MATRIX" but it's still different... in A GOOD WAY.
James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman give great performances. McAvoy was surprisingly funny and quirky.
If you haven't seen it already.....GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Plus, isn't movie theater popcorn the best?!?!

Lickable ADS? LICK or ICK?
Taste strips in magazines? Huh? That’s what I said to myself when I opened up this week’s People Magazine. ((The one with Brit Brit on the cover…aptly titled: Inside her Ordeal))
First thing that came to my mind was, ‘How do I know someone hasn’t been there before me?’
Ewww…
Here’s the deal:
WELCH’S is taking out full-page print ads in People magazine this month that give readers a chance to sample its grape juice by licking the ad. The front of the advertisement shows a huge bottle of the juice, while the back has a strip that peels up and off, with text that reads: "For a TASTY fact, remove & LICK."
Marketers are excited about the prospects for lickable ads, but also have to deal with the "ick" factor. Since magazines are often passed from reader to reader (think dr.s' offices and recycling between friends and collegues) there is a good chance that saliva could be left on the ad. Right?
Well…
Readers are supposed to peel off the entire sticker on the Welch's ad before licking, says Jay Minkoff, President & CEO of “First Flavor,” the company that developed the technology used in the ad. If someone doesn't rip off the whole sticker, Minkoff says, the flap can't reseal, giving people an easy way to know whether the ad has already been licked. But still the question remains…would you PEEL, TASTE, AND LICK an ad found in a magazine?
I want to know what you guys think…so please… feel free to comment...
Fun facts:
Remember the 1971 movie Willy Wonka…where Gene Wilder asked the kids to lick the wallpaper? The creators say, that’s where they got the idea from. Their next step – put it in grocery stores so you can taste...before you buy.
"First Flavor," is a small, privately held company in Bala Cynwyd, PA.

Hey Guys,
I got the new itouch ((it's basically an iphone without the phone portion)) and was wondering if anyone else is having issues with the WiFi connection/service?
I LOVE gadgets -- so I'm super excited about my new toy, but I'm having some serious issues.
Can anyone help me? I need a techy!!!
Also, my itunes won't download music to my new itouch...a box pops up saying, "itunes only syncs to one device." I mean -- yeah, I have an ipod, as well, but shouldn't I be able to sync my itunes music/videos to either gadget?!?!?
