i-touch? i-need help!!!

Hey Guys,

I got the new itouch ((it's basically an iphone without the phone portion)) and was wondering if anyone else is having issues with the WiFi connection/service?

I LOVE gadgets -- so I'm super excited about my new toy, but I'm having some serious issues.  

Can anyone help me? I need a techy!!!

Also, my itunes won't download music to my new itouch...a box pops up saying, "itunes only syncs to one device." I mean -- yeah, I have an ipod, as well, but shouldn't I be able to sync my itunes music/videos to either gadget?!?!?

i am not an apple head anymore....

i had a mac se in 1989. 1 meg of ram.... no hard drive, 2 floppys....

those were the days.

only thing i can suggest for the wifi is...
if you are on an encrypted network... the password needs to be entered....

other than that im clueless.

It's nice to see you landed in a nice market. Congratulations. There are a couple of possibilities with the itouch. 1.you are on a different computer than you originated your itunes account. You are allowed 5 users with your itunes account (5 different computers)So if you are trying to download from your account from another compt. you have to register as a user on that one. 2.You have not chnaged the setting in the touch to automatic when it comes to wifi connection. So check your settings. I know how private you are but your going to have to venyure out to an apple store. Sometimes it's better for them to have the device in front of them.

electrons -- i've gotten to the point where i've downloaded some songs, but have not gotten wifi to work. we'll see!

I recognized you when I was traveling on business in Philly a few weeks ago. I'm glad you like it there.

If you go to settings, then WIFI. It should show you all available networks in the area. They will have different names, you should be able to click one from that list, if you are not able to I would take it back.
