You've heard all the negative news about the economy, gas prices, food prices... you know it's bad when even Starbucks is forced to close up some shops! So you just want to get away! But there's a catch! A long road trip will cost you too much gas money and suddenly all airline ticket seem to come with what appears to be first class price tags.

Searching the web used to be the answer when it came to finding cheap flights but even that doesn't seem to work any more... or does it? There is a brand new website called www.Compete4YourSeat.com

Here's how it works, put in your destination and dates (last minute is fine - actually you'll probably do even better) and then travel agents compete for your business. Some travel agents have better connections with certain airlines than others, so this way, you get hooked up with the agent with the best 'hook up' for your particular destination. Shortly after you put in your information, the site tells you which agent came back with the best 'bid.' I wasn't sure it worked but after doing a lot of online comparison shopping, I found Compete4YourSeat came up with the lowest fare every time!

Give it a try and take that summer vacation you deserve but thought you couldn't afford! I know I will! See you after the 4th!

The price of gas is going down now. $2.01 here. it's just to make people happy, come out of their homes, and spend for the holidays

Tight on money and want to take your family somewhere? There are always places near by to go to. And they are mostly cheap with a lot of fun things do to. You just have to do some research! Try the web. There is this place near the Pocono's. Called Daniel's something. I can't remember, to long ago but I do remember that they had everything for everyone and it was fun! Very kid friendly....Just do some research on some of the places around your area and I'm pretty darn sure that you will find something!

I have to comment on your real deal Amish Fireplaces you did on the 5pm news. 1st the add isn't misleading, it clearly states the unot is free with the purchas of Amish mantel. limit 2 per house hold. anymore than that you pay for entire assembly. they have a contract with the Amish. 2nd I have one of those heaters from the Amish deal..I love it. It is a deal. It is true on the energy saving if you run it on low. It heats an entire bedroom fir less than it cost to run the electric base board in that room. most homes have controls in each room. It was meant for cutting cost on electric heating homes. I have alot of respect for the Amish and your real deal thing is going to cost them alot of money...put it through the test before you dud it...Sorry to speak up..the mantel is made by the Amish...The Heater company has a contract with the Amish to drum up sales for the heater..and help the Amish to sell their craftmanship. That is my understanding.
