Well I have witnessed seeing so close to my domain a F2 Tornado. I find it kind of strange during the month of August which is usually the dry and hot time of the summer to be the rainy and windy time for the upper midwest/NW Indiana area. Now with weather conditions reported for the upper 90 plus degrees and no rain forcasted for a couple of days with 50 percent chance. But seemly out of nowhere the storm came a day it was to be a dry day. It was as if the weather man missed calulated this big storm front.Have you ever seen them miss like this? Come on now this was a F2 Storm passing over head.

This storm was so strong going thru even my city that I could not believe what was happening. It passed over my home but a tornado has been reported to have actually hit some parts of the city. Some residents electricity was off for about 5 days with roofs blown off.

But about 12 miles further east in Griffen,Indiana a city that I go thru all the time was hit with a F2 tornado. There were at least 30 homes totally distroyed. It was an amazing thing to witness the destruction.Well I guess there will be storms that the weather man will miss.I found this amazing with all the new technology.

Hello Media,
I Agree they don't usually miss a F2 but wow ... really I have no idea what is going on? All this weather is weird though, I mean is it supposed to be cool in places of Arizona and even in August?? Its cool?? Its desert area and, well we have had no rain at all the last 2 years, its a very different planet, I feel from when we grew up, its changed.
I am guessing that all this weather weirdness we may be having is due to missiles ,rockets,& all testings,?? well just thinking maybe that the theory "For every action there is an equal or opposite reaction" Humm wondering could this theory actually be happening now?? This is a great post question. I agree missing a F2 humm.??
Much Love Brenda

Look, California got hit by twin tornados this past spring, however I still am with a majority of scientists that the global warming thing is an Al Gore mental condition rather than a fact. The Earth has its ups and downs and scientists have said with hard facts that the weather is mainly influenced by the sun, not necessarily mankind short of a nuke or two or three, God forbid!

sebar, none the less whether you believe Al Gore or not, the climate is changing, It is hotter the sun is way different that it was 30 years ago. Its a must to wear sunscreen or sunblock or you will be a crispy critter. We used to use peanut oil or baby oil when we were sunbathing. We have months of above 90 degree days and its not even called a heatwave any more. We have had no rain. I really miss the rain and thunder showers. So believe it or not something is causing this cosmic change and its scarry.

Glad to read you are safe and sound. Climate change is real and getting more obvious every year. There is no end to summer here in LA LA land. It was close to a hundred degrees today. Well over the average temp from last year. Some people are in denial.

_ say have been working on a documentary about the 19th century African American poet Paul Lawrence Dunbar. It is an excellent film with readings and performances by actors and other contemporary poets. You should check it out. The producer is looking to sell the project to broadcasters or cable networks.
