Bad I believe, but  not all ? Obama's in, bad I believe. The market dropped some 400 points and CHANGE today, bad I believe. Hillary's not in office though, not at all bad ! This should probably end the prospect of another Clinton in ofice. The Republican party will have to come up with another canidate in 4 years and since McCain wasn't my first choice, not at all bad ! Mitt in 2012 ! With the Executive Office, House, and Senate all in Democratic hands I believe their dubious talent s will get the full spotlight, not at all bad. These next 4 years ONLY the Democrats will get their full and just share of blame, not at all bad !

So just remember the Democrats and their  promises . Think they can accomplish that with : less taxes, smaller goverment, no drilling, no coal, and more of their insitefull management ? All of the while creating more jobs, better healthcare and a balanced budget ?

The Democrat's new plan ! Gotta love that TALK RADIO and the fine work Sean Hennity does  getting the information out on the Democratic Party. Think the market is rough on you're 401K ? That's nothing, after working as hard as you do and saving some for you're retirement in  401, Pelosi ( older news ) wants to put a capital gains tax on that, after you've paid you're income tax on it ! Think that's bad ? It gets a whole lot worse. News broke today that two top Democrats ( dirt-bags ) are propossing eleminating 401K's and instead setting up a GOVERMENT RUN PLAN.

Isn't this the same group of fine and outstanding ( extreme sarcasim ) group of representatives ( thieves )  that have put their money magic to Social Security ? Isn't the same group of fine and outstanding group of financial wizards ( worms ) that are handling Medi Care  ? Isn't this the same  fine and outstanding group of  individuals  ( weasels ) , who enacted legislation after ENRON, to prevent investment fraud ?

Do you trust these people ( POS ) to manage a 401 type account in you're behalf ?

Political ads, they're good for a laugh ! Two of Obama's more recent ads are some real pieces of work .  The first  : showing mom, granddad, and childhood pictures tries to answer a question through an emotional plea. My question in responce is : Mr. Obama if you're such a financial genius, wouldn't it have been more forthright and fiscally prudent just to have shown a blow-up of you're authentic birth certificate ?

The second : shows McCain's introduction of Sarah Palin and the statement : I can't wait to introduce you to the big-spenders in Washington !"  The ad then goes on to show McCain's big-spending as if it were fact. Sure it states costs for some of McCain's PLANS, which in reality are only ideas committed to paper. It doesn't mean that they are good, that they are bad, or that they will even ever leave the drawing board. A President doesn't hold the purse-strings,  let alone a hand-full of blank checks. McCain doesn't promise that they will be enacted either !

But wait a minute, wasn't that Obama that stated : " I  WILL have a national health care plan in place in MY FIRST YEAR IN OFFICE !"  I don't believe that to be a promise that he can make. Funny, but I don't recall hearing mention how much HE WAS GOING TO SPEND !

Be Happy and Blog ON !

Another obscure find ? Thanks PBS !  I'm not going to say it's due to cheapness, but my powered TV antenna does just fine. Watched a neat program tonight on PBS, WMFE Channel 24 , titled: Artic Dinosaurs. Intresting enough stuff to me , but for the global warming freaks here's a little fact. Granted it took some time to transpire, but here it is : Presently the North Slope of Alaska is 1,500 miles from the North Pole and is subject to 6 WEEKS of near total darkness during the dead of winter. However, 70 million years ago, the North Slope of Alaska was ONLY 345 miles from the North Pole and subject to 4 MONTHS of near total darkness during the dead of winter.

I'm no scientist, but I believe that such changes might  tend to have an adverse effect on the ice cap.  Information like that doesn't sell carbon offsets though, does it ?

Hey, I do everything I can to conserve and I'm learning and getting better by the day. But hear me Albert Gore, you can ride in your jet.  I, the one with the  F-150 in the driveway ,with duals,  reserve the right to fly  the big BLUE OVAL !   Righteously so, I might add !        LOL !!!!

Energy information and Answers ! I ran into some info and sites that might be of intrest to you so I thought I 'd share. The first is :  http:/www.instituteforenergyresearch.org.

The second is :  info@americansolutions.com

On Saturday, September 27, American Solutions will be holding it's second annual Solutions Day, to have a positive, solutions orientated dialog-- exactly the opposite of what you are seeing today.

So they say ! Just some quotes from the past, just as relevant today. "

" You will kill ten of our men and we will kill one of yours, and in the end it will be you who will tire of it. "  BLEEP Chi Minh, speaking to the French, 1948.

" War cannot for a single minute be seperated from politics. "  Mao Xedong, Lectures

These are just two quotes and easy enough to find. They are fairly easy enough to understand as well.

Something to ponder ? Or are they just words, in speeches or lectures ?

Water woes ? Who determines where or when ? Recently both FOX and the Orlando Sentinel did news articles on a water bottling plant near Groveland slated to open in the very near future. The St. Johns Water District Management approved both the opperation and amount of water to be drawn and sold. Local residents are " now " in an uproar and planning to sue to halt this bussiness. Orange county commissioners, with Tereas Jacobs at the forefront, have talked of joining the suit. This after the company has spent aproximately 20 million dollars to open a facility that had PRIOR approval. My first question is why did you wait this long to consider or take such action ?  The aquifer is an underground river of water that flows south, that is a fact. Is the Orange County Commissioner's concern due solely to the fact that this plant is farther upstream, to the north of us, possibly effecting our water supply ? Has the same consideration be given to bussinesses and developement in this county  and the impact to counties farther south that rely on the Florida Aquifer as a primary source of fresh water? Osceola county has several large developements going in around East Lake that are labeled as having REGIONAL IMPACT, do these projects bear any consideration on available water resources and the impact on water availability to counties farther south that rely on the Florida Aquifer ?  As some of the more sparcely populated counties to our north are developed, do you think their water consumption and it's impact farther south will be taken under consideration  in their  planning, permitting and developement process? Or is it every man and woman for him or herself ?

Think you should ask those Tampa/ St. Pete residents paying for desalinated water what their bill is ? Just just might want to, it won't alieve the comming pain, it will probably cut down on the shock just a little.

Alachua county is looking better every day !

Talk radio comes through again ! Yesterday afternoon, I was listening to Clark Howard the consumer warrior on AM 580 radio. He mentioned what I thought to be an intresting and revealing fact. Detroit recorded it's worst quarter in new car sales since 1998. Automobile sales are considered a good economic indicator. But wait a minute, 1998 was a Clinton year wasn't it and the worst until just now.  So the economy has been in worse shape minus George W.

That kind runs counter to the claim that : I had more money when Clinton ( a democrat ) was in office. If you had more money when a Democrat was in office, then why weren't you spending or saving it ?

I love hearing about all of the fine and wonderfull things you think Obama, a Democrat,  is going to do for you. If you were PAYING ATTENTION during his tire inflation/ no offshore drilling speech , he used TWO words to describe the result, ACTUALLY and PROBABLY . Actually and factually are one thing, probably and possible are another.

I believe that should you elect Obama, you will PROBABLY have a vechicle with properly inflated tires sitting in your driveway. I also believe it will ACTUALLY sit there for most if not all of the time because under his energy policy you ACTUALLY won''t be able to afford  a tank of gas !

Black holes part II !  Will this be a black mark for me and my blog career ? I was trying to come up with something earthly that had some or all of the characteristics of a black hole. Best I recall a black hole is the remains of a white dwarf, a sun that has burned out and collapsed upon itself. When that sun finally goes out and no longer emitts light, it's very dense mass remains. The gravitational effects are so great that even light cannot escape it's grasp. So much for that part of the explanation, now back to the comparison.

I believe Democrats and black holes might just have some things in common.  First, they are both OUT THERE.  Second , they both have strong gravitational effects, Democrats suck in all information and the TRUTH will never see the LIGHT of Day !  Thirdly, an encounter may not be survivable and the possibility of another dimension is in theory possible. For example we currently reside in a CAPITALIST dimension and the probibility of that changing,  through exposure to Democrats, into a COMMUNIST dimension is in theory entirely possible with a very high degree of probablity. How many of us would survive ? Black holes do emitt radiation  as best I recall. While Democrats do not emitt radiation they do emitt other life threating things : misconceptions, falsehoods, and plain 'ole outright lies. Not to mention that the vacume that they create sucks the money, will and intellegense from those that they suppossedly support.

So much for today's installment, I had some fun ! Have you ?

A California commentator on oil. The gentelman's name is unimportant, I'd forgot it anyways, but his comments were of intrest. I caught this on AM 580 radio and the Sean Hennity broadcast. Contrary to what the tree-huggers and Democrats state, a single sane and intellegent individual states drilling off of California's coast is good. There are approximately 27 platforms and they directly contribute to less oil pollution on California's beaches. Amagine that ! Due to natural forces ( earthquakes ) and the local geology, oil and gas seep up through the ocean's floor off California's coast, so much oil in fact to be the equivalant of the EXXON VALDEZ SPILL over a 5 year period of time. This is a natural occourance, but it is diminished due to oil extraction relieving pressure on the oil reservoir. This individual state that the beaches are currently cleaner now with drilling than they were in the 40's and 50's before drilling. Amagine that !  Less tar balls on the beach and cleaner feet for those that prefer barefoot.  He then went on to explain about all of the additional marine life that congregates around the rigs forming new reefs, reefs that are not exploited  or damaged by either commercial or sports fishing. One species of fish, the rock fish, is almost non-existant elsewhere on the natural reefs. Amagine that !

You hear of news like this on TALK RADIO. Wonder why broadcast television can't come up with a single enviromental and capitalist achievement ? Guess news like that's bad for the Democratic politicians and their ignorant  communist following as well !

D.C.'s gun-ban, banned. The recent Supreme Court ruling threw out the gun control law fosteres by those in Washington D.C.  It is a victory and once again the ordinary law-abiding man or woman can legally protect themselves as guarenteed by the Second Amendment in the Constitution, right ? That's right, but did the justices did a little two-step shuffel as well ? In that ruling, they struck down D.C.'s ban and then stated that the Second Amendment Right to bear arms is not ABSOLUTE. I fully understand what that word means , it means your rights, as a law-abiding citizen, by this ruling are conditional.  It is my belief  this wording opens the door and allows further litigation and dissent. , Suppossedly we have a system of checks and balances, has anything been " checked " ? Has  " balance " been restored ?  Does this ruling state " conditions " ?  Does this ruling state who has the specific authority to set  " conditions " and under what circumstances ?

I understand the need for " martial law " , that authority, and those conditions. I understand the "need " to deny convicted felons the right to bear arms. I understand the " need " to deny those that are mentally ill the right of possession.

But what about those that abide by the law ? Will this word " absolute " , it 's use in this case, and some unfinished bussiness open the door and leave MORE VICTIMS ?

Your thoughts, your comments, do you care ?

No endeavor is without risk !  Just getting out of bed in the morning, one can trip, stumble, fall, throw a back out or break a neck. Any of that is possible, so do you spend the rest of your life in bed ? How about taking a shower or bath, you can : fall, break a hip, scald yourself, or drown to name a few. Any of that is possible, you hear of it all of the time. Because of the risks do you forgo a bath ? What about driving , what are the risks ? Do you just quit ? What about work, any accidents there ? Too risky, do you just quit ?  Ever hear of any cooking accidents ? Too dangerous, why eat ? Now that you've somehow made it to the end of the day, do you dare sleep ? It has it's risks as well. People have died in their sleep, both at peace and  violently at the hands of another, then there's fire. These are just a paltry few risks that you run every day, but you still do.

Energy independence is a noble endeavor and a laborous quest. It is not without risk. Do you think it can be done ?  Or is it too tough and full of risk ? Do you just quit ?

Every means presently available to achieve that goal has some varing degree of risk, both enviromental and financial.

I think it can be done !

Any thoughts ?

What is your tolerence level ? I think this is a rather good question in reguards to politics. When you hear politicians speak of why we as Americans cannot do something , what do you think ? Are they giving factual reasons or are they  poorly considered and ignorant excuses ?   Are they honest, intellegent, original and inovative thinkers ? Or are they, those that represent us, idiots, imbecils and fools ? Me, myself, and  I , kinda lean towards the latter. But then that's my belief.  If this is so then , what kind of tolerence do you have for them and their ideas ? Do you think we should tolerate this type  of  defeatist attitude ?  What is your tolerence level ?

Would America be a better place if we adopted a policy of suffering no idiots, imbeciles or  fools in elected office ?

Any thoughts ?

Just an observation ?  Republican's have an abreviation for a party member who once elected tosses the party platform , goals, and values aside. The RINO is who I am talking about, a politician who most likely would have defeated at the polls had his true intentions and true party affillation been known. Seems that some Republicans can see and note the flaws of a canidate that they helped elect. That in itself would suggest that many Republican's are not blind.

What abreviation do Democrat's use to describe a Republican, who under the guise of a Democrat, has won a seat , office or bench ? What abreviation do Democrats use to describe a Democrat who tosses their platform, goals, and values aside ? Or do Democrats all believe that their representatives are perfect in each and every way ?

Just some questions. Hey I wanna know !  Any comments anybody ?

Mel Martinez's replacement have you given it any thought ? Rick Keller has a very good record for voting on  the issues as promissed when he campaigned. Do you think he would be a good replacement for Mel ? I don't think Keller is the type that would vote to give your SS dollars to illegals, Mel did. The fact that Nelson did wasn't really any suprise but the Democrats should deal with that problem ! When my  and my employer's money is taken and placed in an account for my suppossed benefit, I believe anyone that would take it and give it to someone else a thief. The fact that they so willingly do so for illegals just compounds the issue. While Rick Keller may know Spanish, I don't believe he finds it neccessary to use when addressing an American President in America. Mel did make that a point  of his when answering  some of the presses questions ( Orlando Sentinel )on the third set of immigration bills. I kinda thought if he wants to address a President in Spanish he could always talk to Raoul, Fidel's replacement.  I hear Mexico's president is fluent in that language as well.

Any comments or thoughts on this post ?
