A California commentator on oil. The gentelman's name is unimportant, I'd forgot it anyways, but his comments were of intrest. I caught this on AM 580 radio and the Sean Hennity broadcast. Contrary to what the tree-huggers and Democrats state, a single sane and intellegent individual states drilling off of California's coast is good. There are approximately 27 platforms and they directly contribute to less oil pollution on California's beaches. Amagine that ! Due to natural forces ( earthquakes ) and the local geology, oil and gas seep up through the ocean's floor off California's coast, so much oil in fact to be the equivalant of the EXXON VALDEZ SPILL over a 5 year period of time. This is a natural occourance, but it is diminished due to oil extraction relieving pressure on the oil reservoir. This individual state that the beaches are currently cleaner now with drilling than they were in the 40's and 50's before drilling. Amagine that !  Less tar balls on the beach and cleaner feet for those that prefer barefoot.  He then went on to explain about all of the additional marine life that congregates around the rigs forming new reefs, reefs that are not exploited  or damaged by either commercial or sports fishing. One species of fish, the rock fish, is almost non-existant elsewhere on the natural reefs. Amagine that !

You hear of news like this on TALK RADIO. Wonder why broadcast television can't come up with a single enviromental and capitalist achievement ? Guess news like that's bad for the Democratic politicians and their ignorant  communist following as well !

Outstanding find! I'm all ears on 540AM with another radio host from 9 to noon and then of course the King from noon to 3.

We have a simular issue with the beaches here.

Thanks Abunai. I've got a buddy at work, he's 57 now, so that will give you an idea of the time period when he was a small child. He grew up in California and remembers getting oil all over his feet at the beaches. However by his middle to late teens oil on the beach had all but disappeared. I asked him if he'd listened to Hennity and heard the comments from the guy from California. He said yeah that he had and only then did it click that drilling and extracting oil had REDUCED the POLLUTION on California's beaches that he had remembered as a small child. You've got to be an AGENT MOULDER to find the truth that is out there, broadcast TV sure isn't the answer. Wonder where RUPPERT stands on this issue ?

LOL , you expect the hard left to admit that oil is a natural part of the environment when holding it hostage is playing out so well for them politically ....
