I'm sure that many of you will be out and about, traveling, cooking and otherwise preparing for Thanksgiving over the next fews days so...........

 

This isnt news, but thisis the category that must of us who have developed a relationship with each other blog on so.......

I wanted to say "Happy Thanksgiving" to all of you and your families and I hope that you all travel safely wherever you are going, eat too much, watch too much football, and enjoy your family and friends as much as you can.

 

Make sure you take a walk after that BIG dinner....it will be good for your digestion, your heart and the weather should be lovely.

We are not traveling this year, the in-laws are coming over for dinner, it should be a great day. I will take your advice and take a walk...maybe somewhere between dinner and pumpkin pie.

Happy Thanksgiving, MADSMom. I plan to have a lovely one---my daughter has invited us to come over for dinner, and says to come early so that we can watch "our" Macy's Parade together.

I hope everyone else has a wonderful holiday, too, and that we all find time to be thankful for what we have been given.

GrandmaM, I second and third your last line. This time last year I was still not certain that I would be around to celebrate this coming Thanksgiving. So you know I am VERY thankful, also for the the prayers and the staff of doctors at Shady Grove hospital that made sure I would be here.

same sentiments back to ALL of you, and may we all continue to be blessed, informed, conversational, and friendly into the next year. i am especially thankful for the coming of 2008, this year has had its difficulties and its joys, and each new year puts me one closer to retirement, if that's God's will. i am thankful for my family and friends, of which i count most of you - friends sight unseen, but friends all the same.

And to the rest of my blogging buds on this Board! Say a prayer for the troops away from their families this year and one specially for those who have lost loved ones and are facing major holidays for the first time sans their loved ones ....

Stay safe, but most of all have fun ... I am going to try and not drink too much wine ... I have to be at work the next day! Ugh! I hate retail!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what march are you talking about jaded? the one at freedom plaza? i didnt like it or dislike it, i wasnt there. i was at work, and then at home packing. im moving at the end of the month, sold my house.

none of you make me MAD, these are the first letters in my 3 sons names in the order of their birth.

yes, i have my own opinion about just about everything. nothing monolithic about me.

finally, since this blog was for us to give each other greetings for thanksgiving, stay on topic, could ya?

My screen name stands for the first letters in my three son's names in the order they were born. Wasnt intentional, just noticed it one day when I was looking for a screen name.
