Why is it, every year on holidays there's some family drama? Someone is mad that someone else didn't bring the right kind of stuffing, or someone is mad they can't have the holiday at their house....etc.

Is it me, or does it seem like every time there's a big family event, someone's feelings get hurt or someone gets mad?

I've heard from a few of our viewers that their water tastes funny. These are viewers who live in areas that were flooded during Fay and Ike.

Do any of you have issues with your water?

Court records show a 34 year old inmate somehow got a razor blade into court and slit his wrist during a trial.

Tonight at six we're doing a story on how an inmate can smuggle a razor blade into court.

This is a topic that recently touched my family. Lots of heated debate on whether to take a young child to an open casket funeral. Is there an age when it's not appropriate to take a child to?

I'm interested in what you think.

A lot of newer homes in central Florida are stucco. We learned this stucco easily gets small cracks. When it rains water penetrates into homes and can cause flooding, sometimes major.

One expert we talked to said all it takes is a little putty to patch these cracks, and you could save major $ in the long run.

Just a bit of advice I thought I'd pass along with Hanna, Ike and Josephine threatening us.

I'm out with Equusearch Volunteers today as they comb the wooded areas on 528 just east of 417.

About 45 people showed up today, this is far fewer than the 200 that were out there yesterday and the day before. Some of it has to do with people going back to work. But, I met quite a few people who took time out just to help.

No matter your opinions on this case, I have to say it's nice to see that people are trying to help others out. What do you think?

Ok, why would anyone swim in the water that's flooding streets in Brevard and Volusia Counties? I've seen kids, and adults all swimming voluntarily in the stuff. Gross.

All you parents out there---did you or your significant other have any unusual cravings when pregnant?

A friend of mine wanted onions all the time.

I can't even think of eating onions without getting heartburn.

I crave chocolate and fruit.

There's a poll going around our newsroom. Will Sex in the City beat out Indiana Jones?

I've gotten three offers this week from girlfriends to join them for a trip to the movie theatre to see Sex in the City.

What do you think? Indiana Jones or Sex in the City?

I'm a reporter for FOX 35 News. I moved here January 2006 from cold Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It's been an exciting new adventure. I still feel as if every weekend is a vacation. Beaches, theme parks, pools. It's all new to me. When friends from up north make wise cracks about the hurricanes I remind them of the 20 below temperatures they have to endure every winter. It's so cold reporters have to use markers instead of ballpoint pens when covering an outdoor story because the ink freezes. Ha. I'm happy to be here and excited to cover the news that matters most to you.
