We reported a story tonight about a family that picked up medication for their infant daugther, but instead of the docter-prescribed 3 mL per dose, it said 3 tbsp per dose. After three days of vomiting and diarrhea, they realized there must have been an error. Rite Aid admitted to the mistake and now says it has changed how its pharmacy dispenses prescriptions.

Has your prescription ever been incorrect?

John, you got to be joking. Rite Aide in the Logan section of the city treats their customers like second-rate people at times. This is not all employees, their are some working their who are really nice. They even had a contractor Security Guard from Sheppard who was very nice to their customers. But you get the wrong medicine, they forget to fill your prescription, or they take forever to fill a prescription. I was told the change over from Eckerd to Rite computers were the problem. But, I also remember these problems existing before the change over. Best of luck with you report, this been happening for some time. May God be with those who have the final say of life or death in their hand through the issuing and dispensing our medication, we take everyday of our lives.
