Philadelphia police are now patroling the Broad Street subway line after a series of attacks over the past two months.

We're preparing a report today.  Do you ever see police on the subway, and should there be more?

why would you tell the public that the police radios do not work underground. Their has been to many officers killed or injuried people dont need to be told thing like that.

This has been a very public problem for several years. A public report a few years ago said that our city is still not prepared to handle a 9/11-type attack. We made it clear in the report that police are using a "band-aid" system as they borrow working radios from SEPTA, so criminals know there is a backup. But, exposing the issue highlights that a major problem still exists. The police department is frustrated, but the issue is not new.

THUGS!
As a city I hear the cries of our people
they are saying, we are tired. Either we
yes all, damn-it each and every one of us
unite to stop all these senseless attacks
we, you mothers, fathers, families,
politicians, doctors, professors, teachers,
clergy, lawyers, judges, law enforcement,
general laborer, secretaries, etc or
always be a victim of some future assault
just waiting for your turn on Action News
or some other media outlet. Many people
see with their eyes who are doing these
crimes. Many of our citizens live (I BET)
in the same street or next door to active
everyday crime but choose to close those
eyes of theirs "UNTIL SOMETHING
HAPPENS" to a neighbor or their families.
Now, our children in 2008 are running
around in broad day light attacking others
like a bunch of pack rats. It hurts my
heart to hear that the police, the kids
of today call the pooh-pooh are waiting in
mists for these kids. This is a shame.
We should be worrying about using those
pooh-pooh's to protect our city from those
terrorist who chose to do us harm, not our
children.
As a city I hear the cries of our people!
People, as a village we need you to cry
out to your love ones or anyone who you
know are out there running around and you
know them , just to do our village harm.
