Soooo... on Thursday we are headed to LINVILLA ORCHARDS to do some GOODDAY segments on XMAS TREE selection, care and just holiday happy stuff...    So, what I've learned is that first the best overall XMAS tree website out there is.. good info.. good sources.. nice pictures of trees.

realchristmastrees.org

They give you all the info you need.. you can type your zipcode in a find the closes CHRISTMAS TREE FARM and hear from the experts where and when to recycle your nice tree.   Now.. you've taken the time to read this... I'll pay you back with a few tips:

1 - fuel prices do not make trees more expensive - nice try tree guy

2 - drilling a hole in the bottom does not help the water get in there

3 - you need one quart of water per inch of tree stem

4 - christmas trees make oxygen so they are good for the envirnment (?)

5 - CHRISTMAS TREE FARMS ARE FUN BECAUSE YOU GET HOT COCOA AND THE WHOLE PROCESS ENTERTAINS LITTLE CRAZY TODDLERS SO MUCH THEY TAKE LONG NAPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS  ( i love long naps too)

GOOD LUCK LITTLE ELVES GOOD LUCK
