In job categories such as construction labor, building maintenance, and food preparation, immigration added 1.1 million adult workers in the last 4 years, but there were nearly 2 million unemployed adult natives in these very same occupations in 2004.

About two-thirds of the new immigrant workers in these occupations are illegal aliens; Not only is native unemployment highest in occupations which saw the largest immigrant influx, the available evidence also shows that the employment picture for natives looks worst in those parts of the country that saw the largest increase in illegal immigrants..

An unusual thing happened on April 29th at the University of Colorado.

The 2 ex-terrorists event marked a watershed moment in getting the message out that jihad being promoted on US college campuses and can be checked if only some minor efforts are made by those seeking to present the truth in cooperation with college administrators and campus law enforcement.

I was attached to the event by the Walid Shoebat Foundation to organize in advance attendance and to head off any problems with the MSA on the Boulder campus. This event, titled "Why We Want to Kill You," after Shoebat’s latest book, introduced attendees to the terrorist backgrounds of Shoebat and Saleem, both of whom were once assigned by the Muslim Brotherhood to promote militant Islam and jihad within the United States during their younger years and who had been actively involved with terrorism through the PLO in the Middle East in their youth. Shoebat explained to a rapt audience about how he had been assigned to Loop College in Chicago and worked from a basement with a militant imam to promote jihad in America. Saleem told the audience how he went on his first terrorist mission for al Fatah while less than ten years old and later as an adult who was assigned by the Muslim Brotherhood to spread jihad within the US, particularly on college campuses.

The event, like previous events, had many obstacles to overcome just the week before. Posters about the event that were authorized by the campus administration were torn down almost as fast as they went up or covered with posters from an Islam Awareness Week presented by the MSA on campus that same week. The distribution of free advance tickets, available at the Student Union also had problems; when people came by to get them they were at first told the event had already been sold out and was inaccessible or that persons without student ID could not obtain them. It was never made clear if this was intentional or an error on the part of staff. The campus police demanded double the police officers for security resulting in an additional $5,000 expense for the College Republicans that was ultimately met.

But the worst vilification in advance of the event came from the local

The MSA in one breath would declare both men as terrorists that should be arrested if they were really ex-terrorists, then proclaim its support for terrorist groups like Hamas and Hizballah. Both Shoebat and Saleem were accused of being frauds out to make money and the press cited as their source comments from Ibrahim Hooper, the head of CAIR that has had several of its leaders already indicted and prosecuted for aiding terrorist movements like Hamas. Some intelligence gathered before the event revealed the MSA planned to drown out the speakers by screaming "Allahu Akhbar" during the event. But once the campus police were alerted about this and advised to warn the MSA not to do so, the plan fell apart. As an added precaution, every seat at the event had a disclaimer listing the state law about disrupting a lawful meeting and the legal penalties involved with a warning that intentional disruptions would lead to prosecution. There was no repetition of near riots and heckling as has occurred atUC Irvine, UC Berkeley and other campuses in the past.

Only days before, some MSA students approached the College Republicans’ table in the student union where tickets were also being distributed to declare they found the event "offensive." These students spoke of "Israeli state terrorism" in the same breath they claimed to oppose terrorism, but also acknowledged their support for Hamas. At the same time, when I asked how many of the MSA students had read the Hamas charter, none had. One 18 year-old, who identified himself as Vice President of the campus MSA, whose family came from Iran, said that Iran does not persecute Jews, that Ahmadinajhad never said he wanted to wipe Israel off the map, and was misquoted by all the news agencies of the world. He claimed that all exhortations to jihad and calls to kill Jews were mistranslations (apparently only he knew how to translate the Koran). The next day at the question and answer period after Shoebat and Saleem spoke, he, thje student, announced that if the US went to war against Iran, he would go fight for Iran that he referred to as "my country," despite his growing up in and attending college right here in America.

It was to ideas like these that both ex-terrorists addressed as a need for people in America to understand that worldwide jihad is being promoted as much in the colleges of America as it is overseas through the Muslim Students Association and its affiliated groups. Kamel Saleem pointed to the US flag on stage and said, "I don’t advocate against all Muslim people. There are many good Muslims," he continued, "But I want to see Muslim-Americans running with the US flag saying they support America against America’s enemies,." emphasizing the epiphany he had since starting out with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Accused by another MSA student of staging the event to make money or sell books, Walid Shoebat replied, "I’ll gladly open the urged people to become aware of this and fight it. Despite the clarity of his message, one student, a former President of the MSA at the University of Colorado tried to shout over him, "What’s your message? What’s your message?" as if he had spent the last two hours in a vacuum.

"My message," said Shoebat, "is for you to shut up!" at which point the entire audience rose to their feet in a standing ovation. The MSA members remained seated, but it was clear the rest of the Boulder, Colorado crowd did enthusiastically get the message.

The Florida Chamber of Commerce and The Florida Retail Federation argued for three years that business owners had an absolute right to control their employees. That’s why they kept calling it the,

"Take-Your-Guns-to-Work" legislation.

They claimed they could search employee vehicles and ban firearms from those vehicles in the employer’s parking lot.

When the argument came up about CUSTOMERS’ rights under the law,, They claimed businesses didn’t care if customers had guns in cars, they only cared about their right to control employees.

When the legislature passed the law protecting the rights of workers, The Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Retail Federation filed a lawsuit in federal court asking the Court to throw out the law.

They argued that the law requiring businesses to allow guns in vehicles in their parking lots constituted an unconstitutional "taking" of their property.

In court, the federal judge ruled against them – THEY LOST.

They argued that OSHA regulations require them to provide a safe work environment for their workers, which required them to ban guns in parking lots to comply with OSHA requirements.

"A nice-sounding bill called the "Global Poverty Act," sponsored by Democratic presidential candidate and Senator Barack Obama, is up for a Senate vote on Thursday and could result in the imposition of a global tax on the United States. The bill, which has the support of many liberal religious groups, makes levels of U.S. foreign aid spending subservient to the dictates of the United Nations

Senator Joe Biden, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has not endorsed either Senator Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton in the presidential race. But on Thursday, February 14, he is trying to rush Obama's "Global Poverty Act" (S.2433) through his committee. The legislation would commit the U.S. to spending 0.7 percent of gross national product on foreign aid, which amounts to a phenomenal 13-year total of $845 billion over and above what the U.S. already spends.

The legislation itself requires the President "to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to further the United States foreign policy objective of promoting the reduction of global poverty, the elimination of extreme global poverty, and the achievement of the Millennium Development Goal of reducing by one-half the proportion of people worldwide, between 1990 and 2015, who live on less than $1 per day."

The bill defines the term "Millennium Development Goals" as the goals set out in the

In addition to seeking to eradicate poverty, that declaration commits nations to banning "small arms and light weapons" and ratifying a series of treaties, including the International Criminal Court Treaty, the Kyoto Protocol (global warming treaty), the Convention on Biological Diversity, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The Millennium Declaration also affirms the U.N. as "the indispensable common house of the entire human family, through which we will seek to realize our universal aspirations for peace, cooperation and development."

Jeffrey Sachs, who runs the U.N.'s "Millennium Project," says that the U.N. plan to force the U.S. to pay 0.7 percent of GNP in increased foreign aid spending would add $65 billion a year to what the U.S. already spends. Over a 13-year period, from 2002, when the U.N.'s Financing for Development conference was held, to the target year of 2015, when the U.S. is expected to meet the "Millennium Development Goals," this amounts to $845 billion. Obama's bill has only six co-sponsors. They are Senators Maria Cantwell, Dianne Feinstein, Richard Lugar, Richard Durbin, Chuck Hagel and Robert Menendez. But it appears that Biden and Obama see passage of this bill as a way to highlight Democratic Party priorities in the Senate.

The House version (H.R. 1302), sponsored by Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.), had only 84 co-sponsors before it was suddenly brought up on the House floor last September 25 and was passed by voice vote. House Republicans were caught off-guard, unaware that the pro-U.N. measure committed the U.S. to spending hundreds of billions of dollars.

It appears the Senate version is being pushed not only by Biden and Obama, a member of the committee, but Lugar, the ranking Republican member. Lugar has worked with Obama in the past to promote more foreign aid for Russia, supposedly to stem nuclear proliferation, and has become Obama's mentor. Like Biden, Lugar is a globalist. They have both promoted passage of the U.N.'s Law of the Sea Treaty, for example.

The so-called "Lugar-Obama initiative" was modeled after the Nunn-Lugar program, also known as the Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) program, which was designed to eliminate weapons of mass destruction in the former Soviet Union. But one defense analyst, Rich Kelly, noted

The hearing before the House Judiciary Committee went for nearly six hours in response to Kucinich’s "Articles of Impeachment..

Democratic leaders (who were themselves CALLING for the Invasion as far back as 1998 ),, resisted Kucinich’s efforts to hold a hearing on his Impeachment Articles and seemed reluctant to fuel the Impeachment fire that rages strong among some of their party’s ( Far Left and ) Liberal supporters.

The hearing was initially billed by Kucinich and others as an "Impeachment Hearing.".. By July 17, when it landed on the House Judiciary Committee’s calendar,, it had been renamed as a hearing on the "Bush Imperial Presidency.".. THEN earlier this week, it was changed again to a "Hearing on Executive Power and Its Constitutional Limitations."

Republican members of the committee,, who sometimes avoid showing up for hearings that they view as completely partisan,, eagerly attended the circus,, if only to needle Democrats for holding an event they know FULL WELL will NEVER lead to Impeachment Proceedings.. ( because the DEMOCRATS really DON’T want that.. They’d rather PLAY the LIE on TV then reveal the TRUTH of their OWN culpability..)

Limbaugh’s comments,, taken IN context,, referred ONLY to Jesse Macbeth and those LIKE him..

McBath is a CONFESSED and CONVICTED phony,, whose faked but graphic war crimes confessions received FAR wider Media Attention,, and COVERAGE,, than did his later confession to the LIES.. He had,, in a WELL Documented Finding of FACT,, been actually discharged in BOOT CAMP after only 40 days of service..

It was ONLY the DISTORTIONS and the SUBSEQUENT Controversy ( and the efforts of INDEPENDENT Internet Sources ) over Limbaugh’s comments that even made McBeth’s Fraudulance and Exposure as a "Phony Soldier" a matter of "PUBLIC knowledge" at ALL..

EVEN TODAY,, one must SEARCH for the REAL truth of this story in order to find it…

When Pressured they’ll claim that their OWN lives were threatened if they didn’t commit these atrocities.. They NEVER seem to have a suitable answer to the question,,

"If what you’re saying is TRUE,,WHY DIDN"T YOU REPORT THIS..If NOT then,,,WHY NOT NOW??"

And HOW come you’re NOT in Prison???

Hubbard was presented as an Air Force pilot,, who appeared on NATIONAL television on the MOST trusted NEWS NETWORKS of the time while wearing the Distinguished Flying Cross and many other medals ALL while bemoaning America’s guilt and criminal activities in Viet Nam…

The Problem with this IS,, HE was NONE of these things,, having left the Air Force as a Sergeant and never having served in Viet Nam at all…EVER!!!

A REAL and TANGIBLE FEAR of the Viet Nam Vet. emerged as a consequence..

No Ticker tape parades for Us..No siree,, No free Drinks at the neighborhood bar celebrating our return..Oh No..At the ripe old age of 20 to 25 we faced WWII types,,our FATHERS,, who looked upon the Viet Nam Vet with CONTEMPT as AMERICA’S FIRST LOSERS…..

MANY became Homeless as Marriages failed as addictions to drugs and alcohol,,NEVER a PROBLEM in Viet nam,, manifested itself into their lives..This had the effect of further reinforcing the Stereotypes born out of the LIE…An America which was DEFENDED had turned it’s back on the defenders and SHUNNED them…

We remember the sidelong glances and looks of suspicion as others became aware of our military service and we remember the difficulties of trying to get a Job working alongside "Normal" people..More then ONE potential Employer,,USUALLY someone of MY own age who stayed HOME while I was away serving my country,, looked me straight in the eye and quothed,,, " Anyone too stupid to stay out of Viet Nam is too stupid to work for ME.."…

And if you DID get a job,, you ALWAYS seem to get the impression that others were waiting and watching for you to snap as they JUST KNEW you would eventually do….It was ONLY a matter of time…

But I guess,, worst of all by FAR,,and many YEARS later,, was looking at the upturned face of an 8-year old daughter and having to explian to her,, and NOT knowing HOW or WHY she should even have the knowledge to ASK such a question,,,

"No honey,,Daddy NEVER did ANY of those things while he was there.."..

I hear Viet Nam Vets. Being referred to as the "Forgotten Vets." And I say HELL No to that..WOULD to GOD that THAT should have been the case..The KOREAN Vet. was the "Forgotten" Vet,, The Viet Nam Vet.was the REJECTED Vet…AGAIN,,Thanks to the LIES of the "Phony Soldier"…

Thank GOD those days are gone,, May they BE gone FOREVER… I sat and watched recently as some kind of commercial,, I have NO Idea what it was all about,, finally got my attention..I saw men and women in uniform walking through a terminal of some kind..It was Quiet..Then there came the sound of someone clapping,, then another and yet another joined in until the whole room was filled with a chorus of clapping people ALL standing and paying homage to those who would serve their country..

I gotta tell you..We’ve come a LONG way since 1974…I don’t even mind saying that I was moved to tears…

Military personnel all over the world thank God for Rush Limbaugh’s stout defense of our military from these "Phony Soldiers"…In TODAY’S world,, we NEED not depend on the Liberal MSM to "Find out the Truth" of these despicable Characters..By the SAME token,, the SAME technology has made It possible for them to APPEAR anywhere,, on ANY site,, and at ANY time with these Phony Accounts,, accusations and false claims..We NEED to be AWARE of their Presence.. We NEED to KNOW that they are HERE.. It’s ELECTION time and THEY are ACTIVE ALL over the Blogasphere…

His REFUSAL to go HOME while others were FORCED to stay displays a Heroism in the CLASSIC and HISTORICALLY Recognized sense of the word.. To Dismiss it on the basis of " he made his choice" SMACKS of a STUPIDITY beyond ALL comprehension and reason…It is EXACTLY that "Choice" that makes him the HERO that he IS….If Murtha and Kerry were truely honorable men worthy of the uniforms that once they wore,, they would go public with their military records,, just as many of us Viet Nam Veterans,, after YEARS of denial,, have finally been ABLE to do..
