Tropical Storm Warnings/Watches posted

The 3rd named storm of the Atlanic Hurricane Season is official. Tropical Depression THREE has winds at 30mph and moving NE at 6mph.

The storm will have a hard gaining and keeping it's strengh due to it's close proximity to land.

Tropical Storm Wind Probabillity

The storm may become a Tropical Storm tommorow. It is currently over pretty warm waters. Residents and vacationers of the Jersey Shore should continue to watch this.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EDT MONDAY.

LOW PRESSURE OVER THE OHIO VALLEY WILL WEAKEN AS A SECONDARY LOW
FORMS OVER THE VIRGINIA AND NORTH CAROLINA BORDER OVERNIGHT. THE
NEW LOW WILL INTENSIFY AND MOVE NORTH WITH AN INCREASING ONSHORE
WIND THAT WILL REACH GUSTS OF 35 TO POSSIBLY 45 MPH ON MONDAY.
THIS WIND, COMBINED WITH THE SATURATED GROUND`S COULD BRING DOWN
SOME SMALL TREES AND POWER LINES.

THE WINDS AND THE HEAVY RAIN WILL MAKE DRIVING CONDITIONS BAD FOR
THE MORNING RUSH HOUR. DRIVE CAREFULLY.

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS
THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.

All that is possible tonight and tommorow as a big system moves into the region. A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect untill 8am Tuesday morning. Moderate flooding is possible tonight at high tide and again Monday night on the oceanfront and back-bays.

NOW... Rain is already spreading over the area and is heavy at times. Some thunderstorms are possible. Strong t-storms are over the Atlantic Ocean off of the Chesapeke Bay. They should weaken by time they get here.

TONIGHT... Heavy Rain and t-storms are likely. The heaviest rain will be mainly after midnight. Rainfall amounts 1-2 inches of rain is possible tonight. It will be windy with E winds 30-35mph with gusts up to 40mph.

TOMMOROW... Heavy Rain and T-storms will continue untill around dinner time. It will still be windy with NE winds 20-20mph with gusts up to 40mph. Total rainfall will be around 2 maybe 3 inches. Drizzle will continue Monday night.

Most of the rain around the area will come to an end soon but showers and drizzle are still possible this evening.

NOW... Rain around the area will come to an end around dinner time. Rainfall may be heavy at times. Addional rainfall amounts less then a 1/2 an inch.

TONIGHT... Some drizzle and showers are still possible early, otherwise it will be clearing. It will also be breezy, with N winds 10-20mph.

SATURDAY... Expect partly cloudy skies in the morning with a chance of a shower or t-shower late in the day or evening. High 67.

Another chance of rain is possible Sunday night into Monday.

A Flood Watch is in effect for Salem, Camden, NW Burlington and Gloucester counties. Heavy Rain is expected through Friday night. Streams, creeks, road ditches, and low-lying areas may flood.

Some showers will be developing late tonight. Showers tommorow will be scattered through most of the day. High 77. The rain will continue Thursday night and become heavy. Some thunderstorms are possible thru Friday night. Friday will be a dreary day with rain most of the day. The weekend looks nice: Mostly Sunny, Highs 69-72. Rainfall amounts will be out tommorow.

There is a chance of showers or thunderstorms later tihs evening. The farther north you go the more storms you get. Low 52. Rainfall amounts will be light. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for Salem, Camden, Cumberland, Northwest Burlington, and Gloucester until 3AM Sunday and all other counties until just about an hour from now (11PM). Skies will clear tommorow with highs 65-74. My heart goes out to the Philly Cop's family who was killed this morning. That must be very sad.

Some drizzle or showers are possible this afternoon and evening. Rain will be light but may dampen your day. High today 63. The showers will end this evening and it will become partly cloudy. Low 40. Friday looks tricky, with temps around 70 in southern parts of South Jersey and around 65 for northern parts. There will be a SLIGHT chance of a shower or thunderstorm Friday afternoon. The weekend looks yucky with showers possible and highs in the low 60s. I am off from school today & tommorow so I hope the weather is nice!

IN THE PINE BARRENS SHOULD DROP QUICKLY OVERNIGHT. BY WEDNESDAY
MORNING, MOST TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE MID 30S ACROSS THE
ADVISORY AREA. THIS WILL PERMIT FROST TO FORM ACROSS THE REGION,
ESPECIALLY IN THE MORE RURAL AREAS SUCH AS THE PINE BARRENS.

Some frost is possible tonight in the Pine Barrens and other rural areas. Mostly clear skies with temps lowering to around 40 at the shore to 35 inland. Temps will rise to around 60 tommorow with mostly sunny skies. A shower or two is possible Thursday with highs around 65. It will be partly cloudy on Friday but showers are possible on the weekend.

A severe thunderstorm is about to move over the Delaware Bay. This storm has showed rotation and a tornado warning was issued for Kent county Delaware. It is expected to move onshore at Cumberland County. Stay tuned for more updates. I will update on the comments.

Rain has been scattered most of the day and will become heavier soon. A line of thunderstorms will be with the heavy rain. Any storms will produce heavy downpours and gusty winds. The forecast will be posted tonight.

Some rain and thunder-storms are forecasted tonight and and tommorow. Rain will develop (if not already) tonight and become heavy at times. Fog is possible. Some thunder is also possible. Low 47. Tommorow, rain in the morning will continue with some thunderstorms at times. The storms may produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Highs 65-67. It will be breezy with some fog along the coast. Showers will taper off Tuesday morning and will be clearing. High on Tue. 62.
