Boo hoo. The "fat cats" have all of the money. They're rich and I'm not. It isn't fair, is it? Why should THEY have more money than they need? Why shouldn't I be entitled to some (or all) of it?

They have their corporate jets, their big houses, and their mega-yachts. I drive around in my ten-year-old pickup and I can barely afford my house payments.

WAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

I've got it...let's elect a socialist as president so that he can take the money from those rich people and give it to US!

Brilliant!

Socialism is bad. People should be encouraged to go out and get rich on their own. Education is an integral part of this process. Capitalism, in order to be successful, must assist the educational system in it's efforts to make Americans smarter a little bit more than our government has in the recent past.

Well, let's all get to work, then.

Nash,

Then tell us how the Obama plan does that! How does giving a tax rebate check to people who don't pay taxes, encourage ANYONE to WORK? You voted for him. I'm guessing you know.

FF ... this is your most credible blog post to date. Other readers will presume that you are attempting to be sarcastic, but it is evident that you are not only quite serious, but have finally come to your senses! What made you finally snap out of it?! Damian.

Vitt: It has NOTHING to do with my man losing. But, rather, more to do with the LOSERS amongst us that insist on playing the wealth envy game.

There is one individual in particular whom I shall not name (quack) whose posts drone on endlessly about the "fat cats" and the "fact" that they do not pay their "fair share".

What I see is someone with little self-respect who has worked for years and is now close to retirement. But he seems to be ashamed of himself because he never made it in life.

Alas, it is much easier to blame the "HAVES" for their successes that it is to point the finger of blame at himself.

I find that PATHETIC.

Yeah, X...I've come to my senses alright. Thanks for noticing.

Let's examine a few facts my friends :

Barry (Popular Choice) Irish O'Bama is still two months away from the LONG and DIFFICULT task of solving the problems of Dumbo (the free spending) Fool.

Try as you may (a feeble attempt at best), the Dems, the liberals, the socialists, Irish Barry, the DAWG, Michael Moore or others on your short list of libel, had NOTHING to do with the causes of this meltdown during the first 6 years of the "Reign of Error" of Dick and Dumb.

The "Conservative, Fiscaly Responsible", REPUBLICANS (the BIGGEST LIE of all time) led by the most arrogant and ignorant human being to ever have stolen and election (the most glaring TRUTH of all time) , are the REAL purveyors of Socialism.

Irish Barry is forced to enact social programs to create jobs in order to solve the problems created by your pal. Off your knees boy, his boots are covered with too much slime for even the hungriest of lickers.

Is bailing our the rich wall streeters SOCIALISM? Whose idea was that? GW and Hank, the kings of the commies.

Is "rescueing Insurance Giants SOCIALISM? It wasn't O'Bama's idea.

How are we going to pay for the programs necessary to correct the evils of Dumbo? You will not get it from the folks who are out of work. How about taking away a few of the tax loopholes awarded to the rich and famous friends of the current twins of corruption?

Those who garner their wisdom from Rushtojudgement Limbercheeze need to realize that the tax code has been used to shelter the income of the super rich 1% and it needs to be adjusted now to pay the piper for the pro

..pay the piper for the crimes and mismagement of the REPUBLICANS who got us into this mess.

Only the most ignorant among us do not know that the tax laws are slanted to give special breaks to those deemed worthy by the government of lairs, crooks and thieves. Who benefits from these tax loopholes? The rich and famous who pony up big $$$ to elected these lying dogs.

As a middle class stiff I sure as hell don't get anything excepted the royal shaft.

I say take away a few of the tax breaks from the 1% so the 99% get a fair shake. George Soros and the CEO's of the world may lose their private jets and eat less caviar, but so what? A few children may get health care and a few hundred thousand jobs may be created.

That seems to be CHANGE that we can live with.

Rush and Sean and Ann may disagree but their collective wisdom is worth less than the sweat off the back of a skunk.

"enact social programs to create jobs"

That is a huge fallacy created by your hero, FDR. Social programs do NOT create REAL jobs. ONLY investment by private enterprise does that.

I'm not sure who said it first but, try as you (and Osama) might, you cannot tax a society into prosperity.

But thanks, Sir Donald, for confirming for our fellow bloggers what I have been trying to convey in the first place. You should read (listen to) your own words THEN try to convince yourself (and the rest of the blogosphere) that YOU are not a Marxist. You and your buddy with the ears.

The prosecution rests. Verdict: GUILTY.

I agree with you FF, all of the people who voted for Osama will be let down. For the most of them they voted for him solely because he said they would get something for doing nothing! The key word was “Free”. He will not fulfill his promises to them but instead raise their taxes. Those of them that don’t work of course won’t feel this pain. I only hope it’s only for four years. I still can’t for the life of me understand how someone can feel that they disserves to be given money that they didn’t earn just because someone else has it and how they think that if the government taxes the rich more how they think they will get it. Well it their dream so they can live it. I will make sure I keep them aware of this in 3 years from now. I’m sure by then they will have changed their name on here or simply vanish to avoid the embarrassment.

And those of us blessed with a fair measure of intelligence (definition : those who do not rely on hypocritical radio talk show hosts for their "news" and for their ditto head thoughts..or lack thereof), those of us who can think for themselves, are hard pressed to understand HOW IN HELL the igits could have voted for Bush not once but TWICE and then vote for GW reincarnated and Ms Mooseburger?

Those who did the evil deed (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) are in no position to criticize those who vote for CHANGE!

You boys brought this economic calamity upon us and those fools who voted the "evil ones" in office are the GUILTY ONES among us!!

Shame on you all, go soak your faces in buttermilk for a week.

Talk show host do not run this country. Talk show host are not elected officials. I love it though that the libs are so afraid of them. It shows you how miserable and frightened they are of any one that speaks against their way of thinking. I bear no guilt whatsoever for voting for Bush. Why should anyone feel guilty for the way they vote?
Her name is Palin, Sarah Palin. She is in Alaska now and not a threat to anyone on the left. She never was a threat and neither was Joe the Plumber but it sure caused a panic attack on those scaredy cat libs.

Great point, RL! I, too, voted for President Bush - TWICE. And would again if for no other reason than the FACT that the policies that he has instituted have kept our sacred soil free from subsequent attack. But, alas, this is not New York City.

I'm not criticizing anyone who votes for "change" (whatever the BLEEP that is).

What I AM criticizing are those (quack) whose sole existence is consumed by hatred of the successful and prosperous. THAT is the subject of this thread.

Give the baby his bottle now. WAAAAAHHHH!

No matter how many people you have digging a ditch with shovels, it does not compare with one guy on a Payloader. No matter how much everyone is willing to work, not much can get done without intelligent process. America has this unfortunate tendency to apply Capitalism to it's university system wherein we pay through the nose to send a kid to college. Meanwhile, foreign nationals from oil-producing nations freely reap the benefits of OUR educational system because their Daddy can afford it. WE SHOULD NOT ALLOW EVEN ONE NON-AMERICAN INTO OUR UNIVERSITIES AS LONG AS THERE EXISTS ANY UNITED STATES CITIZEN READY TO TAKE THEIR PLACE. This is what a representative government is supposed to do. Many of the opposing Generals we fought against in war got their military training at West Point. It should almost be considered Treason to educate a foreign national over one of us.

There is a good point made by MN! "WE SHOULD NOT ALLOW EVEN ONE NON-AMERICAN INTO OUR UNIVERSITIES AS LONG AS THERE EXISTS ANY UNITED STATES CITIZEN READY TO TAKE THEIR PLACE" and I would personally contend that it should be free of charge to any and all United States citizens! Damian.

I am your normal, middle-class, "working Joe". But I am also a capitalist and believe that nothing good comes from socialistic entitlement programs. I believe in hunting down and killing terrorists like the little rats that they are (except that that statement is denigrating to rats). I grew up in a very conservative household and was fortunate enough to have had a conservative American Government teacher (a retired US Army colonel) who helped to show me the "right" way. Are there things that I would like to change? Absolutely. But NOT the kind of "change" being espoused by Hillarock Obaminton. I have lived in Florida for forty of my forty-eight years. I've been a big Pink Floyd fan since my teen years hence the moniker, FloydFreak. My friends call me Freak, Floyd, and FF. The libs call me a neocon. I wear that badge proudly. Please note that I enjoy engaging in spirited discussion - even with those with whom I disagree. There are a number of individuals on these boards whom I respect even if I DO think that they're out of touch with reality. Please note also that I do not tolerate personal attacks on my character. If you think that I'm full of BLEEP, you have the right to say so. But drag my character into the gutter and expect retaliation in kind with FloydFreak's own brand of sarcasm. Keep it civil and we'll get along fine. To those of you that see good in America and want the OPPORTUNITY for prosperity for all - and do not just seek to soak it to "the rich", I say God bless you. And God bless America!
