No Cameras! Wow!

All these news reports about the tiger attack in SF.  I think the thing that surprised me the most was it was reported that there ARE NO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS, so they won't have any video footage to review.  The Police are counting on gathering some story from the other two guys who survived their attack.

If these guys did tamper with thecage or taunt the animal, the whole story may yet come out.  I think the city is asking for trouble on a number of fronts for not having video surveillance on the grounds.

Did anyone else notice this?

FishStick, I have only heard a few blurbs about this, BUT if the AH's did taunt / tease the tiger......WTF?

Even I know when my cat has had enough, and she is only 11 pounds.

If they taunted the cat, then they deserve that and more. The ded kids mother was running her mouth of on TV blaming the cat and the zoo. The cat was minding its own business ... what the heck were these morons doing? You think the other two will own up to taunting the cat? Never! They will blame the poor ead cat so they can exact a plump payout from the zoo.

I would like to know what their legal status is in the country .. Anyone wants to take a vote?

Unfortunately a beautiful animal is dead and these two prick+ are alive ....

My heart goes out to the poor animal ....

They found a shoe and a blood trail leading from the wall.They were inside the fence taunting the cat! How many yrs. has the exhibit been open without incident?20,15 yrs. nothing in all that time,yet 3 young punks push a wild animal to it's wits end and the animal attacked.Go figure!I watched the kids dad saying it didn't matter what they did from throwing rocks what ever the cat shouldn't have got out!That may be,do you think there would be any issue at all if they didn't provke it? How stupid do you have to be to tempt a tiger to fight!!!!!!!!! Bet they never do it again,one of them for sure!

Amen Jaded ... but that doesnt bring the cat back. I couldnt give a rat's butt for the lives of those 3 sorry excuses for people ... I am immensely sad over the death of the tiger ...

Yes, I saw that fat pig of a father of the dead kid saying that it was okay for them to throw whatever at the cat and that it shouldnt have acted the way it did ... where they fuc+ did that piece of shi+ climb out from .... how dare he say that! lets throw some stones at him and see how he reacts ... Ugh ... he made my blood boil ... sorry piece of shi+ ... I guess he can see what he raised .. and now his sorry excuse for a son is dead ... serves them all right .... I hope they suffer for the rest of their miserable lives! the poor cat is dead as a result of their stupidity ....pity the other 2 didnt meet the same fate ....

luvmybroom, your thoughts and mine are the same regarding the oink-oink father of the dead kid. He'll sue big time, and probably win since they are now saying the fence was not as tall as it should have been.

The city attorney will have a good defense.If those moronic kids screamed fire in a theater and a panic occurs someone dies,it is not the fault of the movie owner! I've heard two conflicting reports that the walls met the standard national requirements. There are some new requirements that were just proposed before the incident.NO ZOO has implemented them yet.What really blows me away is that the cat went after them after they meesed with it! It caught them,revenge of the tiger.The death of a Siberian tiger one of the most beautiful creatures alive on the planet is unforgivable!A tiger is living art,something even the great masters of art can not do justice!Stupid Kids!
