With all the news about these scumbags abusing kids I have to be honest with everyone.  The in-justice system is doing NOWHERE enough to protect our kids.  As parents we can only do so much.  Short of keeping our kids at home with us 24 hrs a day ther is undoubtably times when our kids will be in the care of others.  If it were to happen to one of my kids," BET YOUR BACK SIDE THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE WILL NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT WHAT THE COURTS WILL DO TO HIM ( OR HER ).  In other words I WOULD be the one in jail.  If I didn't KILL the SOB he would wish I had.

I know I am not the only one who feels this way.

The thing that gets me is the lawyers that defend these creeps.  My question to them is simple,  WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO DEFEND THE SAME PERSON IF IT WAS YOUR CHILD MOLESTED BY SOME 60 YR OLD MAN?  I THINK NOT.  LAWYERS ARE PUTTING MONEY ABOVE MORALS.

AM I RIGHT.  WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

I completely agree with you. I have a 2 yr old daughter and the things I see scare the hell out of me. I've gotten into an arguement in a store b/c an elderly man was trying to say hello to her and she wouldn't look at him. Now don't get me wrong, not ALL senior men are prevs. But he actually said, "In my day, kids had manners". I looked him straight in the eye and said, "Im not going to say bad girl wheres your manners, make nice with a complete stranger?" I then walked away.
I think where parents(who care about their kids)go wrong is not competely communicating with their child about the dangers of the world. Now of course you don't want them to be scared to go out in the world but to use their brain God gave them. And to know their limits.
Example: You can save 10 minutes by using that short cut through the dark alley or you can walk around the block. Which do you take?
Now where the systems fails you, me and our kids is the civil rights of a child rapest. The courts cannot jail child molsters b/c other inmates will hurt them. Get that, criminals with morals and limits. So the courts put them on probation. Some for life some only a few months. If you commit a crime worthy of jail, you go to jail! How can it get anymore simple?
And the ones who fail the kids the worst are those parents( if u can call them that) who repeatly put their small child in a situation where they are in danger of being violated by an adult they are told to trust b/c that parent doesn't want to go through life alone. What every true parent knows is that you can never be alone when you have a

Sorry,
I guess theres a limit on how much you can say. Does anyone know if you can delete your own comments you posted or even edit it?

No you can't delete from another's blog
What most of us do to get around the limitation is hold your comments in notepad or another text editor That way when you copy and paste to the comments window and you click done you can see where it stopped and

On the topic I have thought it out clearly and seriously. I would have killed the bast**d sure as breathing. Glad my kids are adults now and abuse is no longer a personal concern
for me

In America you are entitled to a FAIR trial. That said there is on way in HELL that I would be a DEFENSE ATTORNEY OR for that matter any other type of ATTORNEY! If I was anywheres near a molester I would be more inclined to draw my Colt 45 and dispatch him or her .

It's a game to the defense attorney's, how many wins they get under their belts. It matters NOT, what the criminal did. Defense Attorney's are part of the problem.

In a fair system you have to have a prosecutor and a defense attorney. If the defense attorneys only picked the innocent defendants there wouldn't be too many to pick from thus the defense attorneys can't make a living and therefore will choose another career leaving just prosecutors and finally an unfair justice system. (not that it is great now)

It is very sad in this country that the victims seem to have less rights than the criminals. I have a 14 year old step daughter whom I have helped to raise since she was 7. It is tough to say what you would do for sure but I am with you. If given the opportunity the scumbag wouldn't even know his name when I was done with them. I already take notice of some adult men over the age of 18 that stare at her.....this world is a scary place. As a parent I keep her away from myspace etc. but there is only so much you can do.

Wouldn't it be nice if a lawyer knew for sure his client was guilty as you all seem to know. Our legal system is set up to protect all of us. Children included. Have you never been accused of something you didn't do? Just imagine if you were innocent and accused of molesting a child. I couldn't think of anything worse! But then on top of it you couldn't get a lawyer anywhere to represent you??? Well I guess I just thought of something worse didn't I.

Yes if it were my child I too would be looking to handle this before the police or the courts were involved. I think any parent would be. Just another reason why we have laws. A hot head parent can easily make a mistake. They want someone to pay. It almost wouldn't matter if it was the right person or not.

Blame a lot of this problem on special interest groups who tag more types onto offenders into the same crime, because that crime is 'hot' at the time.

That 60 year old man who goes after a child is in a cell right next to the 18 year old college student who kept seeing his sixteen year old girl friend from high school, and the 30 year old who thought he 'got lucky' with a drunk chick who later said she was too drunk to consent and filed a complaint.

So if you want to do more to the dirty old man, you have to consider the other two, all guilty of the same crime

These same activists scream bloody murder if you make any effort to reevaluate the law, not because they feel it's not just but because they can get a lot of money from proponents as deluded as they are.

I tend to think of myself as a down to earth guy. I do hate the way things are going in the U.S. right now. With elected leaders not caring what the people think and just doing whatever the --ll they want to. If you need names, watch fFOX 35 more often. I am relatively new to the blogging scene but am more the wiser for paying attention to it more often. I think this country should only be concerned about 1 country....OURS! To hell with what the rest of the world thinks about it. France....who needs em? Iran, Iraq, ALL those middle east countries.....Let them blow up their own people if they want to. AMERICANS, not the people who either floated over on rafts or swam across a river have to basically take this country back. I do not vote. What good does it do. Promises made are never kept. Taxes continue to rise etc. People can say what they will about me not voting, doesn't phase me one bit. The last 2 presidents have lied to us constantly, "I DID NOT HAVE SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH THAT WOMAN " Give me a break! THE POLITICIANS ARE SOME OF THE BIGGEST CROOKS OUT THERE. Enough ranting. I like spending time with family and friends. It is not uncommon for me to call some of my neighbors over on the spur of the moment and cook a big mess of "MUDBUGS, SHRIMP ETOUFFEE, AND CHICKEN GUMBO" Hence the name, "FLACAJUN". I love to cook, I am a certified chef. Don't work in restaurants now but plan to own my own SOON! When it finally opens I will invite all of you. Well, that's me.
