It's amazing. Eventhough I haven't been to work in over a month, after my first day back I really feel like I never left.

Overturned trash truck on 202...Traffic and weather on the 9's...Sue at a ballet class...But she forget her ballet slippers. Never has the right footwear, that one!  Some things never change. 

I'm almost back in step.  My back issues haven't resolved themselves fully just yet, but it's thrilling to be out in the world again. Certainly glad to be back on the show with all of the people, both on-camera and behind the scenes, who make Good Day so much fun. I was starting to feel like a shut-in after all that time at home!

All of you who've posted supportive messages to me on this board have made the transition back  so much easier. Thank you!

Let's hope for a smooth commute tomorrow morning.

Alright, People.  The time has come!

After weeks of staring at the ceiling, flat on my back, waiting for my spine to heal, I'll be returning to Good Day this Wednesday, April 25th.

I can't promise that I'll be bright-eyed or bushy-tailed, but I will be back on the show, once again, for the morning commute.

Thank you SO MUCH to all of you who've reached out to me with get-well-wishes over the last several weeks. As many of you know,  I'm recovering from a back injury, but am extremely anxious to get back on the air. Happy to report that I'm feeling stronger each day, but, let me tell ya... the walls are closing in on me at home! I need to get back to my routine!

I have been pleasantly overwhelmed by the flood of emails wishing me a speedy recovery.  Please know that your support has helped me tremendously.  It's so encouraging to know that so many of you are pulling for me.

I can't wait to be back in front of the camera, helping you with your morning commute!

Given the choice of lamb or lion, I'd certainly pick the latter to describe the weather today, as we welcome in the month of March .

Of course this morning's commute was a mess! Someone needs to invent an umbrella that can ward off that sideways rain. Yucky, to say the least.

How was your ride into work? Anyone get stuck behind that tractor trailer accident on 422? Any streets in your neighborhood flooded?
