I'm thoroughly disgusted & at my wits end !!

In San Diego, the PUBLIC schools  are allowing Muslims to pray during the day. The are making foot baths and special rooms for them to honor ALLAH. HOWEVER, NO OTHERS in the same schools can pray if they're other than Muslim. That's right....the good ole' USA is afraid to step on toes again.

This is simply insane to me !!  How can this be..the last time I checked this was AMERICA, not some Muslim nation.

How dare this be allowed in our own back front yards?

What do you think should be done about this situation?

Should religious leaders like (Jesse & AL) raise some hell?? (They do any other time.)

So basically tell your kids, their religion isn't important. When did 1 religion get special treatment over another. I always thought religion wasn't allowed in public schools. Pretty sad, I hope oneday our country learns the meaning of EQUALITY !!!! ( in my lifetime)

This is a total discrace! You can't say the Pledge of Allegiance in school, because it has the single word "God" in it, but this is allowed? You must be kidding me!

I can't believe this. We are America!! Who is it that keeps putting us on the back burner and not caring about our wants, needs and desires. I am sick to my stomach after reading this.

Seems in order to get anywhere in America today. You have to be an illegal alien and a muslim.

Then our government will hand you everything for free.

Here is an article.

I see a few schools listed, throughout the US, allowing a special recess for prayer time, but nothing about a group of schools in any one area. The footbath was put in at a college, and these other examples are mostly colleges.

". And the American Civil Liberties Union says overt religious symbols like crucifixes are not legal, but whether Muslim foot baths and prayer rugs fall into that category is not clear.

"That's a difficult one, and it's right on the edge," says Jeremy Gunn, director of the ACLU program on freedom of religion and belief in Washington, D.C."

Obviously 2 sources will say 2 different things. CNN reported that several (7 or 8) colleges installed foot baths & prayer rooms. In one of the public schools, a teacher assistants lead the prayers.

That's just wrong

When you are ready to apply your standards to all religions.

Note the lack of empathy, for civil rights, when the violators are Christians, as this post about the town of Ave Maria, FL.

I don't think Christians (or anyone other than muslims) are allowed to pray during school.

What happened in Ave Maria, FL?

From what that article says it sounds like Ave Maria, FL is a bunch of people who want to live a certain way and are buying enough property to do it. As long as no one is forced to live there and they do not use a single tax dollar, I don't have a problem with it.
