I've heard for many years that Disney gives health coverage to "Life Partners", but not un-
married Male/Female relationships. My "other half" works at Blockbuster and they have
the same policy. We have been together for 10 yrs, but don't have the same benefits as
gay couples. What's up with that??
Is this really true about Disney ?
If so, isn't this discrimination based on gender ?
Shouldn't a reporter jump on this story?

As I was forced to go to the Magic Kingdom yesterday, I was still looking forward to the
Haunted Mansion & Pirates of the Carribean. While going through these 2 rides, I
noticed 2 or 3 nooses hanging or projected. So, I asked my self..."Self, should this be
construed as racial?" After all, the noose is deemed racial for anybody else, why not
in this case? I knew then, a blog was in order. (I'm playing devils advocate here)
Where is Disney's sensitivity??
Should they be made to take them down?? or Is it just a decoration?
What makes this different from halloween decorations?

Did you know that the FEMA trailers, that were passed out during Katrina, are being
taken back? Initially, FEMA gave the people that had them the opportunity to buy them
@ $1200. I know this because I have friends that were directly affected. NOW, FEMA
is taking all the trailers back & the people that bought them are being refunded their
money as the trailers are to all be destroyed.
I smell a rat ! I'd bet and arm & a leg something is WRONG with these trailers. I would
also bet it has to do with the materials used to make them.
What's your take?

WHAT A CROCK ! WWJD? he would slide his card of life through the ATM.....located in the back of the church....
OK..I'm ready for some great feedback....especially you...NORTH
I can't stop laughing myself......sucker born every minute.

I just went to CompUsa and made one (1) small purchase. When I got my receipt, I was amazed how long it was. (I've received them in the past...today it bothered me..lol). Anyway, when I got home I just had to do it......I measured it. The reciept for ONE item was 25 inches long.
What the heck is going on with that??
Is this a total waste of money & paper??
Know of any other stores that waste like that??

I'm thoroughly disgusted & at my wits end !!
In San Diego, the PUBLIC schools are allowing Muslims to pray during the day. The are making foot baths and special rooms for them to honor ALLAH. HOWEVER, NO OTHERS in the same schools can pray if they're other than Muslim. That's right....the good ole' USA is afraid to step on toes again.
This is simply insane to me !! How can this be..the last time I checked this was AMERICA, not some Muslim nation.
How dare this be allowed in our own back front yards?
What do you think should be done about this situation?
Should religious leaders like (Jesse & AL) raise some hell?? (They do any other time.)

I'm sure you've all seen the story about the 2 little kids that have been charged with sexual assault.
The Crime : Running down the school hall and smacking the butts of 6 girls.
They were arrested from the school AND face prison time !!! THIS IS NUTS !!!!
Because on of the mother's is speaking out about the ridiculous nature of this "crime", the State prosecutor is upset & may try to push it even harder.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR COUNTRY !!! IT MUST BE FIXED !!
The laws have gotten so out of hand we don't which way is up. From racial profiling to illegals to this nonsense. The friggin cereal companies even took away "children attracting" characters.
What do you think about this situation with the kids ?? (I think @ 10yrs old)
Can kids EVER be kids again?? or Is that era completely gone& our kids are getting ripped off?

I can't remember the county, but one of the counties in Florida just recently had a sting on contractors working without a license. I know it's a good thing, but not the way it was handled.
They used 140 hours of time to do this X 10 or 12 police officer. So, that's around 1400 man hours. They plan this elaborate scheme to enforce the law...and it's only a misdemeanor !
I think 1400 man hours could have been geared toward more important things...like felons. If your going to have a sting, why on something like this? These guys will be out that night, pay a fine and do it again.
I would bet the fines imposed on these people don't even come close to the money & time wasted on this sting.
What's your take?

Wanting to try something new, we decided to go to the greyhound races as we've never been before. So, we dressed casual and hit the road, hoping for some excitement. BOY, was that a mistake !!
We first stopped by the hai-lai (spelling?)arena.....It was a FILTHY mess; bums hanging out in front and the inside was disgusting. The sign (outside) is falling apart along with the rest of the building. We got the heck out of there & headed for the dog track.
We figured it would be a descent place to spend a few bucks. ONCE again I was mistaken. The parking lot is a dirt area with no lighting and completely disorganized. The inside shocked us all. It was a pit !!! Kids hanging out..calling out for their Dad, who's gambling away somewhere in the building. It was so filthy, I think the dirt on the track was the cleanest part of the whole place. What a disappointment !! We watched the dogs run 2 races...and left.
Needless to say, our trip was fruitless & I can't imagine why these places are so delapitated and dirty.
So, if you think it might be fun, ...it won't !!
Anybody ever been to these places? What was your experience?

President Bush has signed a directive for the treatment of terrorist prisoners. We don't want to humiliate them, nothing that goes beyond the scope of human decency.
Are you kidding me?? These people scum of humanity shouldn't even get a drink of water until they come off some information. They plot and murder OUR citizens and we can't even interrogate them properly??
Just give them 3 squares a day, rec time, prayer time...and hold them forever, all at the taxpayers expense.
I say...randomly execute 1 every day. Maybe that will get some attention.
What else do you think Bush will do to screw up our country, more than it is already, before he leaves office?

A town in Texas had a real funeral yesterday to put something, not someone to rest. They had the big idea to bury the "N" word in an actual funeral. They had a casket, took up a good space at the cemetary..and buried a word.
You've got to be kidding me.......what numbskull thought of this??
Like wasting a good plot, casket, service & people's time off was worth the effort. Who, besides anyone that attended, will this effect??? NOBODY !!
Waste of time??
Waste of money??
OR
Do you somehow think this will make the slightest difference??

As I watch the news concerning the attempted & successful bombings overseas, I hear the same thing repeated over & over.
"The U.S. has stepped up security.......blah blah blah...".
Does this mean unless something happens, our security is just......o.k. ????
We shouldn't have to "step up" security, as this why it's there in the first place.
We need to learn from El-AL Airlines in Israel. If I'm not mistaken, since 1968, they haven't had a hijacking or any problems ( one foiled attempt in 03??). They just have tight security, and ...YES ...they admit to flat out profiling. If it wasn't for the direct profiling, their country would at great risk...even greater than the U.S...... I agree with their policy....it KEEPS THEIR PEOPLE SAFE.
Do you think our "security" should be held to the highest level at all times?
IF NOT, isn't it like carrying an unloaded gun?

Have you noticed the increase of British people on television shows lately? OK ....I know I watch too much "reality" tv, but here are some shows I'm talking about;
1. So You Think You Can Dance. There's 2 british people on this one. One is the hostess & one is a judge.
2. American Inventor............ A judge
3. American Idol......we all know who that would be.......
4. National Bingo (which i will play tonight).....he's the host.
I'm not complaining, but it makes me wonder what's up???
Do Americans lack enough qualified people? Know of any other shows?
What's your take?

Disney has crumbled under the pressure of being called racist. The "lifetime ban" for the 4 athlete punks that didn't follow the directions of the police, has been reduced to 1 year for the pleasure Island area...and NO ban for any of the other Disney properties.
I want a race card!! It seems like that card trumps ANY problems encountered whatsoever.
Can anybody tell me where I can get that card? Are they for sell....or is it only for other races?
SHAME ON YOU DISNEY !! It shows all you care about is the friendly, happy, money making parks. Why protect the patrons that came there to be free of punks.....that saved for 5 yrs to come once in their lifetime. The hell with them...right.

NOW.............that I got your attention........Disney is really right for their crackdown. HOWEVER, they have brought this upon themselves. If you remember, in the not too distant past, Pleasure Island had gates on both ends. The benefits of that;
1. Had to pay to get in, or buy a season pass. This gave you entrance to every club & the crowd was generally 21 & up. There was never any problems...we had passes for 3 years (only 10 mins from our house). We went over... hung out, went to all the clubs...went home.
2. Security was minimal, streets were not too crowded & no young kids just hangin' out.
3. Clubs were busy all the time..plenty too do.
NOW.........
1. There is no admission charge to Pleasure Island. This allows anybody to walk through as often as they want.
2. The clubs are completely empty....maybe 20-30 people at most.....some 0 people.
3. There are NO seats out side anymore...just a little corner....with about 8 small tables.
4. They took away the 2 stages, so no live performances anymore.
5. Stores that used to be busy, are now closed. So as you walk through, it looks like the place is failing.
6. Groups of young kids (of all races) hanging all over.
We don't go there anymore because it's so chaotic. You can barely move through the street...it's very crowded. The young kids are always in large groups. Going to a club with 20 people inside...kinda takes any from the atmosphere as well ...which is part of the reason we go.
BRING BACK THE OLD PLEASURE ISLAND..............THAT SOLVES THE PROBLEM.
FOX...DO A STORY !!
