Talking Dog For Sale!

This guy I know was driving around the backwoods of Tennessee, and he saw this sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house that said:

"TALKING DOG FOR SALE!"

He got out of his truck, and went up to the door and banged on it. A man answered, and asked him if he was there about the dog. My friend said that he was. The man said the dog was out in the back yard. My friend walked out to the back yard, and saw a nice looking Labrador Retriever sitting beside a doghouse. "You talk?" My friend asked the dog.                                                   
       "Yup!" The dog replied, wagging his tail.                                                  
               

After my friend recovered from his shock,  he asked the dog, "So, what's your story?"                                                The Lab looked up, and said, "Well, I discovered I could talk when I was pretty young and I wanted to help the Government, so I told the CIA. In no time, they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because nobody figured a dog would be eavesdropping. I was one of their most valuable spies, for eight years running. But all that jetting around tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger, so I signed up for a job at the airport, to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a bunch of medals. I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired."                               My friend was so amazed, he just walked away, back to the owners house. "How much do you want for your dog?" He asked.                                                 
     "Ten bucks." The man said.                     "Ten dollars? That dog is amazing. Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?" My friend asked incredulously.

"Because he's a liar. He never did any of that stuff!" The guy told him.

Hey, W! We're okay here, too. We lost power 2 or 3 times, the longest being for 4-5 hours. Lots of limbs down, you know how L.H. is full of those old Oaks! I was in your "neck of the woods" last weekend. First, off Reynolds, then
Rhetta. I am SERIOUSLY wantin' another Rottie.
My "Hercules" came from "Tradewinds Kennels" in Wildwood. I would absolutely have to have a very young dog, or a pup, because of my Grandbaby. I would want them acclimated and "growing up" together. Know of any? Let me know!

Jim, did you ever see that video of the cat flushing the guy's toilet 973 times in one day? His water bill was astronomical and he couldn't figure out why, so he set up a video camera and bust ed the cat, flushing the toilet and watching the water spin, over and over. Funny as all get out!

That's funny! I didn't get to see that video. I did see the one where a family couldn't figure out why their patio was soaked every day so they set up a video cam and caught their dog climbing the ladder and sliding down into the family pool dozens of times in a row. He was having a blast!

Jim, I saw that one, it was hysterical. The cat one is still on YouTube. Just put in "Cat Flushing Toilet" look for the one that says "big water bill."

Thank you my dear for the compliment, the thought of the alternative ( dumbazz) I find unbearable ! LMAO !!!!! Didn't catch that pic yet Deborah. I've had some close encounters with that particularly evil tempered reptile over the years. Getting back to your comment on my post, when you claimed to have seen something. Remember the saying : " You can't see the forest for the trees !" Need I say more ? Snicker,snicker, I find your claim rather dubious. How's that for being a smarty ? LOL !!!

Nice photo, Moccasins look better when photographed in that state. My first encounter differed slightly, I caught three little ones barehanded. When one would try to bite I'd snap them like a yo-yo. Put them in a cooler and took trhem across the street to show my buddy's dad. That's when we found out exactly what we'd captured. His dad then promptly killed them. Needless to say I didn't tell mom about the fun we'd had that day. I also took it upon myself to learn a little reptile identification. White " Vette" and pink stripes huh ? Sounds like something " Barbie " would drive, but you're Deborah right ? LOL !!!!!!

Yeah you're daughter probably probably got lucky herself. Little bitty moccasins don't have white mouths when open, they are bright orange. Does highlight their little fangs a better though. I know which snakes I can safely grab now. Saw a 7-1/2 to 8 ft. yellow rat snake a couple of years back behind the house. I was seeing dollar signs when I bagged and sold him, the booger must have read me though. He got right in the top of a blackbery briar patch and I decided to leave him alone and let him enjoy sunning the rest of the day. Briar patches have been very,very bad to me over the years. Teenager and dirt bike for example. LOL Shame Black Indigos are so rare, they'll dine on moccasin so I've heard. Have ya a great week !
