"Global warming has paused."

The Sun has gone to sleep. 

It is spotless, according to NASA. 

Translation ?  Prepare for cold.

 

And 5 agencies have acknowledged the switch.

1.  Hadley Climate Research Center (UK)

2.  Japan Meteorological Agency

3.  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)

4.  University of East Anglia (UK)

5.  University of Alabama - Huntsville

But somehow the message is lost.

Perhaps, you can explain to me why.

As long as you have companies like General Electric, who have millions and millions invested in alternative energy, and, are lobbying Washington with more dollars than the top three oil companies combined, It will never change.

Wouldn't you just love to question Biden and his ilk on WHY he thinks man is the primary cause of 'global warming'?

Mr. Biden...

Please cite me a model that predicted the cooling (non-warming) of the past decade.

What real evidence is there for a human greenhouse gas contribution ?

And, depending on his response:

Glacier / ice melting cannot identify the cause.

Correlation with CO2 -- often negative

The models predict warming, not the current cooling that is taking place.

Models can simulate 20th century global mean surface temp. "Curve fitting" by choosing the right parameters post facto.



Do you accept Hansen's estimate of sea level rise of 20 feet or more?


Or even the more recent estimates of 1-2 meters?

That would translate to 1-2 cm per year?

How do models handle long-change in albedo?

Oh ! That's right. You're just a politician.

Climate has been changing LONG BEFORE we ever got here. Governor Palin would have scored some points with me if she had told that to Gwen Ifill, but she didn't.

Now a couple from a layman's standpoint....

Senator Biden, You, along with Al Gore, claim that there is a consensus among scientist that man is the cause of 'global warming'. Please take a look at the following list...

Now, sir, please explain to me HOW is there a consensus among scientist that man is causing 'climate change'?

A debate would be awesome! A global warming debate is one of my dreams to have with Al Gore, but David nailed it home with his questions. David know climates...that is what he does and is good at. Biden needs to stay out of science for he is only making himself look like a total @ss.

Why 3 to 1 in debate,cause all 3 together only know half of what a real meteorologist knows about climate and weather trends, so actually its a stacked deck against the global warming panel
