It is that time of year again...time for our bloggers to take a guess on who you think will be this year's Monster Hurricane.

The object ?  To pick one or two storm name(s) that you think will be remembered for its strength and/or its destruction.  Only the storm names that are retired are considered "winners"----of course, I use this word loosely.

Recall, Dean, Felix, and Noel were retired in 2007 and replaced with Dorian, Fernand and Nestor, starting in the year 2013.

The start of the Hurricane Season is June 1st, nearly two weeks away.  Below is the 2008 list of Atlantic storm names.  Enjoy.  There are no prizes, no mugs----just bragging rights.

Good luck.

Arthur

Bertha

Cristobal

Dolly

Edouard

Fay

Gustav

Hanna

Ike

Josephine

Kyle

Laura

Marco

Nana

Omar

Paloma

Rene

Sally

Teddy

Vicky

Wilfred

I nominate Nana.  There's just something about Grandma kicking up a storm surge that puts me on edge.

My gut tells me to stay with Rumplestilskin,

but, just for the heck of it, I'll go with Paloma.

With Bertha in the wings in case Paloma stands me up.

What no chance for a Hurricane Quagmire, that sucks! 6 named, sorry no Gustov, one mainland hit level 1 or 2.
2 level 5's will hit Mexico. All others stay in the Pacific.
