"Is This Right ?  Is This Fair ?"

These questions are often asked in the world of politics, criminal justice and even religion.

So why not in the world of global warming ?

Should the world renowned hurricane expert Dr. William Gray be silenced for being a global warming skeptic ?

I think not.

What's your opinion ?  Is there more to this than meets the eye ?

Wow. Why is he not entitled to his own opinion? The higher management must be full of tree huggers. You this global warming frame of mind is really dooming us as a nation. Look at where we are now... Green this, Green that, food shortages because we need to use clean biofuels, etc... Can we please go back to the way it was?

Maybe 60 minutes will will interview Dr. Gray??......Don't hold your breath.

If these warmers are so concerned about the welfare of our planet, why do they stifle debate? If it really is concern that drives them, don't you think that they would welcome debate?

BTW, I think the latest global warming catch phrase is...."global climate disruption"..

Tom... When asked about biofuels contributing to the food shortage, Al Gore(p) had "no comment".. Surprise!!

My school had 3 fires today...all 3 of which I was very close to.

This involved standing outside for 45 minutes this morning with temperatures in the lower 40s.

Reason #1 why a parent might not be willing to send their children to a secular university or college. What used to be a place for open debate and "liberal" thinking has become a place of indoctrination for our children. They are no longer allowed to question evolution (now a supposed proven fact), global warming caused by humans (now a supposed proven fact), or socialism/communism as capitalism is evil (now a supposed proven fact).

I'm not for climbing in a bunker, but the way society is going, future generations will not be able to think for themselves or even be able to make their own choices. Goverment will control their thermostats, among other things, raise their children to think like the state demands, permit citizens to question nothing, tax the wealthy to help the less fortunate until there are no more wealthy persons to tax resulting in massive poverty and then give control of our country to the UN. When are average Americans going to wake up and see these looming dangers to their freedom rather than fake ones like global warming? Before it's too late, I hope.

Thanks for keeping the debate alive, Dave, for the sake of our children and grandchildren.

From Noel Keenlyside (The Leibniz study)

``Natural variations over the next 10 years might be heading in the cold direction,'' Wood said. ``If you run the model long enough, eventually global warming will win.''

Run the model long enough??

Again, I guess global warming is taking a coffee break.

"The Leibniz study, co-written by Noel Keenlyside, a research scientist at the institute, will be published in the May 1 issue of the journal Nature."

Leibniz is a German based marine science institute.

Again, global warming is taking a iced coffee break.

JT, someone decided to light the paper towel dispensor on fire. Then, the janitor tried to put it out with a fire extinguisher and he didn't use it correctly so he ended up starting another fire.

Then the dumpster just randomly decided to light up in flames later in the day.

David,
I do think it is fair to ask about Global Warming. If we didn't ask about what is going to happen with the future of our world then there is no point in asking what's going to happen with the people that represent a little bit of its land. This is a concern not only for America but for Politics as a whole. Everyone should unite in a broader perspective as to what to do to make our world decrease the velocity of its deterioration. I think its fair game.

Great questions Hun!

I have no idea, ibejim. I saw him go in there with the fire extinguisher, then I heard on one of the teacher's walkie-talkies that he started another fire. LOL.
