What's the summer of 2008 going to look like ?

A lot of predictions will be made, I am sure, in the coming days. Some will be right, some will be wrong. Truth be told, no one knows for sure.

However, if history is our guide, then the numbers below may be of interest to you.

FYI

We are now moving further away from a STRONG La Nina.

Good stuff. The less days with 90+ temps, the better!

It will be interesting to see what everyones thought are for the up-coming hurricane season, and the effect La Nina' will have on the number of canes' and the severity.

Hmmm......Pretty consistent numbers.

Some people on other site have been talking drought.

Even though a drought can happen,I'll go with your findings since this area ,in all my 50 plus years has only seen 3 or 4 dry spells over six weeks in duration, that I remember.

Hi David.

I'm going fishing tomorrow evening; I'll probably be fishing until well after dark and I was wondering if you could do me a favor.

Can you go around back of the Uber Bazoober Doppler and see if there's a crank (like on a Model T Ford) and give it a couple of turns and see if you can raise the temperature ?

Thanks.

It won't be too bad tomorrow, JT. I can deal with 58 degrees. Although I do love that 68, 70, and 72 for Wednesday through Friday...LOL.

I trust David with that 76 degrees for Thursday. John Bolaris says we'll only reach 70 degrees.

"Hurricane" also says 70 degrees.
