I was asked two questions about the Cardinals .Over this past Christmas Holiday . My answers surprised me , too say the least  !

 

  1ST . Name all Fan favorite players of the last five seasons .?

 

 2ND. Name any player from your list . Thats still with the team , or hasen't had a problem with Tony LaRussa . .?

 

  I only came up with Pujols , Carpenter and Molina . . I had too correct that , because of the way Tony treated Pujos in the all star gane .  The person asking me the questions said , it sounds like Tony can't stand his players being to popular with the fans .

 

  Soo , what do you think ?

Can you really count Carpenter? He's been mostly sidelined and out of the picture. Don't get me wrong I think he's great, but he hasn't been as exposed to day-to-day with Tony as the others.
In defense of Tony, he's still the boss and if they want to throw their money in front of him, he will let them know, it's not the money. He's the boss.
