 Thanks Governor Rod Blagojevich !

  Missouri business owners have a friend in Illinois . Its none other than the Governor Rod Blagojevich . Brother Rod just signed into law a bill that bans smoking . Now I know why we need a new bridge down town .

   Governor Blagojevich has a plan to take Illinois back to a true prairie state . First he proposes a tax on manufacturing . Now he signs a bill that will force Illinois residents that smoke .To cross the river into the , SHOW ME STATE .

   WAY TO GO ROD  ! YOU DA MAN !

Correction . Governor Blagojevich has not signed the Smoking Ban Bill yet . But he has stated he will .
I was listening to the news on the radio . And they reported he had signed the bill already .
I know , I know already ! I should only trust Fox2 News . I FEEL SOO DIRTY !

devas, I know the Sheryl Crow comment has nothing to do with this blog but I have to thank you for mentioning it. I was starting to think I was crazy, cuz I heard the story about the one sheet of tp one time, and no one else I knew heard it. I have just one thing to say in resposnse to Sheryl....I hope she gets a bad case of diarrhea and is locked in a bathroom with only ONE SHEET OF ONE PLY!!! LOL

here was my post to blog I started.

This is another attempt of a government by the people for the people TO the People.

Illinois smokers will just come over to St. Louis and find a Bar or restaurant to visit.
that will mean more money for Missouri, More DWI's more insurance claims for recked car. looks to be a positive thing!!!

What I would like to see is the state governments ban fires that have toxic smoke.

Now that would be government in action.

THEY RAISE THE TAX ON CIGARETTES, BUT THEY WON'T LET YOU SMOKE THEM. I AM PRETTY SURE PEOPLE WILL GET SMART TO THE BUY THEM BUT DON'T SMOKE THEM LOGIC.
SMALL BUSINESS WILL CERTAINLY SUFFER, IT ALREADY HAS WHERE THERE ARE CITY AND COUNTY BANS IN IL. MY HUSBAND TRAVELS TO SPRINGFIELD AND CHICAGO AREAS, HE SAID A LOT OF THE LITTLE TAVERNS AND SUCH HAVE CLOSED IN THE LAST YEAR ALONE. I UNDERSTAND BIG CHAIN RESTAURANTS AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES BUT SMALL BUSINESS SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHOSE.

I don't smoke but feel badly for the smokers who live in Illinois. You're right, I believe Missouri (and surrounding states) will profit from this ban -- until "they" ban smoking in our state and surrounding states. People follow people you know. It's just a matter of time.

On the subject of Sheryl Crow, I had not heard that story before. What's up with that? She can certainly afford to use as many sheets of tp as she wants. I'm sure I don't know the entire story on this.
