Partial Birth Abortion Ban

The U S Supreme Court ruled 5 to 4 today . Upholding the nation wide ban on the controversial abortion procedure . This is a long awaited victory for abortion opponents .

  I for one , am glad this ruling came down . It's my opinion partial birth abortion is unnnecessary in most cases .  All anyone needs to do is watch a film of a partial birth abortion being preformed . To me its nothing more than the murder of a defenceless human being .

  What is your opinion ?

i feel the same way!
i have seen film of an abortion and it's cruel they cut the baby in pieces,, and i have seen partial birth abortion also it's sick

I agree killing is wrong and I don't understand how any one could do it anyway. As far as sinning goes it made the top ten list. I can't have babies, but I guess some people who can just take it for granted.

In some instances, this is a tradeoff. We are saving the baby's life in exchange for the mother's. How many of these types of abortions were performed to protect the mother because of complications in the second trimester?

I'm not saying that some women didn't have these strictly for birth control, but I disagree with passing the law as is with no consideration for the health concerns of the mother.

Without the possibility of termination in the 2nd trimester due to medical issues, we now run the risk of loosing the mother AND the baby.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense to me.

A selective panel convened by The American Collage of Obstetricians and Gynecologists ( ACOG )

Could identify no circumstances under which the partial birth abortion procedure . Would be the only option to save the life or preserve the health of the women .

Dr, Martin Haskill of Ohio , the God father of partial abortion . Stated to the American Medical News . That of ONE THOUSEND or so Partial Birth Abortions he performs yearly . 80 percent or purly elective !

Dr. Warren Hern a Abortion Practitioner and auther of The Abortion Procedure . Stated " I have very serious reservations about Partial Birth Abortions . You really can,t defend it . I would dispute any statement that Partial Birth Abortion is the safest procedure to use .
In Hackensack NJ One abortion clinic performs 1.500 partial birth abortions per year .

I have never agreed with abortion. Except for medical circumstances or rape. It seems it is being used as a form of birth control. There are many other ways of birth control, I would hope they would be used first, and that is coming from a Catholic.

A partial birth abortion consists of pulling a live fetus partially from a woman's womb and then crushing or cutting the skull.

Finally. What I don't understand is how 4 educated, intelligent people could vote for it. The procedure is horrendous.

IT is Murder! When a Fetus (child) is viable outside of the Womb and a doctor stick a surgical scissors into the back of its skull, its MURDER.

Be safe don't have unprotected sex.
