Tainted Honey is the latest health care concern from China,  during the last 10 years,  a contagious bacterial epidemic infected bee larvae in hundreds of thousands of bee hives resulting in the majority of honey production to be cut by two thirds.

While Chinese bee keepers could have destroyed the infected hives, they instead applied a dangerous, extremely toxic banned antibiotic.

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration says that tainted honey is high on its watch list.

China has been known to launder honey through third countries to avoid U.S. import fees and tariffs and some of the honey from China, has been mislabeled from Russia or countries that have small bee populations.

Only a small fraction of the honey imported to the United States is inspected and the U.S. has not legally defined honey, posing challenges for enforcement agents working to keep tainted honey out of the country.

Spending a day driving from New Delhi to Agra would be an eye opening experience for any American. On a recent delegation of world technology leaders to India, I saw how plumbing and running water are rare, the air is dirty from ubiquitous two-cycle engines and electricity is sporadic at best. Life is tough and daily survival is a challenge.

In times of economic crisis, it can be easy to forget how good we have it in this country. We have working infrastructure and reliable electricity. Our plumbing works and we enjoy clean drinking water. Even our poorest neighbors do not face the fear of starvation or seeing their sick children waste away without proper medical care.

Yet, we are quickly putting our American way of life at risk. In the last few months our government has spent nearly $1 Trillion Dollars, we don't have to bolster a few companies considered too important to fail. We are on the verge of spending billions more to temporarily bail-out three American car companies, while doing nothing to resolve their core problems---bloated autoworker union contracts.

Those same unions gave a half a billion dollars to Democrats this election cycle, with their No. 1 priority, the forced unionization thanks to "card check" legislation pushed by certain newly empowered Democrats in Congress.

Card check would dramatically change U.S. Labor Laws and overturn a half-century of balance in labor-management relations and strip workers of core protections. By depriving workers of secret ballot vote in union elections, this legislation would allow for coercion of workers who don't want to unionize and could force millions of Americans to join unions against their will.

"It was supposed to be a joke as an endless parade of corporate beggers marches to Washington in search of handouts for their beleaguered industries, some of us in the news industry snarked that Journalists would be next in line...."

The cost of nationalizing banks and mortgages is now up to $8.5 Trillion Dollars where does it end? Socialism is sure expensive.

Now that the Fed's have nationalized banks, mortgages and insurance companies, the auto industry is going
to get a second stimulus of an additional $30 Billion plus, after they sucked up their earlier $25 Billion Dollars this quarter. I am wondering, when will Michelle and I be getting our multi billion dollar stimulus package?

I sure could stimulate many American households, employing dozens of people to help me in the re-manufacture of widgets.

"No,  what makes me feel better is knowing that our wonderful country has rejected your brand of un-American politics. Now please don't write me again, or I will file a complaint against your ISP and

My goodness, another angry Lefty. Only the Liberal views should be heard
and everyone else is hateful and divisive?

While Barack Obama is swimming in cash raising $150 Million Dollars in September
and by mid October raking in additional $36 Million Dollars his poor old Auntie Zeituni
lives in Boston Slums.

What a benevolent nephew Barry Obama is to his Auntie Zeituni.

Barry told "Joe the Plumber" how he does not mind "spreading the wealth around"
with tax-payers money but he is too selfish to provide for the needs of his own family.

Character matters !

How accurate are the public opinion polls?

In his column  D.J. Drummond  argues that "the polls are wrong this year, very wrong..."

During the 1980 Presidential Campaign Ronald Reagan trailed Jimmy Carter among likely voters
in a poll conducted October 24-27

Ronald Reagan defeated Jimmy Carter in a landslide come from behind victory.

The polls are indeed dubious---with the Dinosaur Media in the tank for The One  there is much to be
suspicious of.

Do we have a right to vet the media?

Barack Obama is the most dangerous candidate for the State of Israel since it's creation in 1948.
He is not, as Professor Alan Dershowitz recently put, "a true friend of Israel" any more than Jimmy Carter
was. He is certainly not "much better for Israel" than John McCain, as potty-mouthed comic dunce
Sara Silverman put it.

Any American Jew who votes for Obama ought to be ashamed of her/himself. Obama is not in line with a single authentic Jewish principle (authentic Judaism believes the veracity of the Torah, Oral Torah and Talmud, not bagels, lox, Woody Allen and a copy of the Sunday New York Times) on Abortion, Obama is radically pro-choice, he is radically pro-Gay rights,  celebrating Court Ordered Gay Marriages. Authentic Judaism is against Abortion unless the Mother's life is in danger and against homosexual behavior all together.

A research team from the Psychology Department at NY University headed by Prof. Yaacov Trope and supported by the National Science Foundation is investigating the cognitive causes of voting behavior,
political preferences and candidate evaluations throughout the course of the
2008 U.S. Presidential Campaign.

This stage of the study focuses on the information people use to inform evaluations during the last few weeks before the elections and the research team is seeking respondents of all political leanings from all over the country (and around the world) to complete a 15 minute questionnaire, the responses will be completely anonymous.

The following survey does not represent an endorsement of  Cristy Li, the views and the survey are those of the Psychology Department at New York University.

Can it get worse? After Congress has Nationalized Mortgages, John McCain proposed spending another $300 Billion Dollars to buy up bad mortgages---the U.S. Treasury would purchase bad mortgages directly from Home Owners.

How can one assail Big Government, call themselves a Watch Dog of the peoples money and propose spending another one third of a Trillion Dollars of the tax-payers money?

Michelle Malkin is so correct, "...had Obama proposed this, the Right would be screaming bloody murder about this socialist grab to have the Treasury renegotiate individual home loans and become chief principal write-down agents for the nation...Getting credit is not a Constitutional Right. Preserving home ownership should not be a government imperative to be pursued at all costs. Neither should foreclosure prevention at all costs."

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-CA gave her husband $99,000. from her political action committee for her husband's real estate and investment firm over the past decade, a practice of paying a spouse with political donations that she voted to ban last year.

Financial Leasing Services, Inc. owned by Paul Pelosi, received money for rent, utilities and accounting fees---Mr. Pelosi's company is on track to receive $48,000. from his wife's PAC this year alone.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi promised that the 110th Congress would be the most open, honest
and ethical Congress in history---Right?

"Iran is a problem from Hell. The next U.S. President be it Barack Obama or John McCain, is going to have plenty to worry about: The Wall Street Financial Crisis; The War in Afghanistan; Pakistan's Internal Crisis; The relentless military build-up of China and the temptation it will soon have of trying to re-take Taiwan militarily. You can be sure of this, at some stage during the next Presidency, Iran will blow-up into a full scale crisis that will dominate global politics..."
