Can it get worse? After Congress has Nationalized Mortgages, John McCain proposed spending another $300 Billion Dollars to buy up bad mortgages---the U.S. Treasury would purchase bad mortgages directly from Home Owners.

How can one assail Big Government, call themselves a Watch Dog of the peoples money and propose spending another one third of a Trillion Dollars of the tax-payers money?

Michelle Malkin is so correct, "...had Obama proposed this, the Right would be screaming bloody murder about this socialist grab to have the Treasury renegotiate individual home loans and become chief principal write-down agents for the nation...Getting credit is not a Constitutional Right. Preserving home ownership should not be a government imperative to be pursued at all costs. Neither should foreclosure prevention at all costs."

"Even more Socialism..." So is it a conspiracy or pure stupidity?

Now we learn just how bad things got before the crash. HUD now reports that there are five million fraudulent loans out to illegal aliens. If HUD knows it now, it must have known it all along.
So was in charge when all this went down? Afonso Jackson. (He left HUD in June.) According the Washington Post "He pushed for legislation that would make it easier for federally backed lenders to make mortgage loans to risky borrowers who put less money down. He issued a rule that was criticized by law enforcement authorities because it could increase the difficulty of detecting and proving mortgage fraud."
Who else did this? Franklin Raines, head of Fannie Mae up until 2004.
Assuming an average loan of $200 K, five millions loans would total $1 trillion. If banks lost only 30% on those loans, it would reduce their lending ability by 3 trillion dollars. And all this happened under George Bush's watch.
These misdeeds are bad enough, but we are about to see California lead the nation into a depression. Unemployment will exceed 12%. If Americans don't demand that only legal workers are hired when they are facing absolute ruin, they have only themselves to blame.

All of the above are correct, but don't forget Franklin Raines was Clinton's budget director. This plot was hatched to ratchet up home ownership among "minorities" (admirable), but it seems the definition of "minority" was rather broadened to include

-illegal aliens
-demi millionaires
-multi-home owners
-wannabees
-friends of anyone anywhere

It is true that this element of government "oversight" has morphed into socialism. Its "trickle up" now, not "trickle down.

Republicans Strike?
None of the Above Is An Option

American Patrol Commentary -- October 9

It was reported that when asked by Katie Couric who McCain who he would you like to meet & have dinner with & McCain said he wants have dinner with the Olympic athlete whose parents were illegal immigrants.
It is seems clear that John McCain has no intention of making illegal immigration an issue in the campaign, even though he could win if he did. Barack Obama is in the pocket of the Mexican Reconquistas.
I propose this: We should give John McCain until October 20th and if he doesn't hit the issue of illegal immigration hard we should mount a major campaign to vote for "none of the above" on election day. That means voting - but not for President. If Obama won with only Democrat votes the message would get through loud and clear that the American People don't like the choices. He would have no mandate and Americans would have sent a message.

I have an original idea.

I propose we complain about illegal aliens until everybody is so sick of hearing about it, that they totally ignore us.

Better yet....let's keep complaining until we stop supporting these Illegal Alien chuntes with our tax dollars. How about that one???? But then, you and the other chunte supporters want to keep giving them sub-prime mortgages huh? You're such a loser...

How about this one? If we weren't spending the money in Iraq, we could afford the Illegal Alien chuntes. That's one of your brilliant talking points.

No....the Illegal Alien criminal activity is the broken record. I'm only giving you the information that you obvioulsy don't like...And pointing out your position and support for criminal ingrates is not a smear, just a fact. You should be a stand-up guy and be proud of what you've accomplished with your friends...

Actually, in small words has given his plan regarding the illegals. His plan to reform medical insurance is for ALL TAX PAYING RESIDENTS. That leaves out about 17 million of the free-loaders with their anchor babies. Obama merely wants to enforce a penalty on employers not supplying medical insurance incentives. This doesn't eliminate the free loading illegals but simply will put a huge burden on small business.
Good luck getting rid of over 16 M illegals and good luck if you think either McCain or Obama will address such a touchy issue. Both know that such subject would lose their election.

Elect Obama and watch our depressed economic become catastrophic.

CHANGE ? As America enters the final weeks of the 2008 Presidential Election a community organization based in CHICAGO named ACORN (with ties to Barack Obama) has come under fire for voter fraud. Acorn's explanation is possible mistakes by employees and they can't help that. Do they think Americans are that stupid? Frankly I believe the Government is that stupid to keep funding these organizations with OUR TAX DOLLARS. When you step back and look at the series of events unfolding it is easy to see that AMERICAN TAX DOLLARS have been funding the fix of the "FIX" of the Presidential election.---PLAIN AND SIMPLE. You want CHANGE? CHANGE Chicago style... BODY COUNT In the last six months 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago, (221 killed in Iraq) . WHO'S IN CHARGE IN ILLINOIS ? Gov. Rod Blogojevich House leader Mike Madigan Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike) Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of former infamous Mayor Richard J. Daley) & SENATORS BARACK OBAMA & DICK DURBIN ...the leadership in Illinois .....all Democrats. Chicago is a combat zone. Of course they're all blaming each other. Can't blame Republicans, there aren't any! State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country. Cook County ( Chicago ) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. (Look'em up if you want). Chicago school system one of the worst in country This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois. He's gonna 'fix' Washington politics? GET REAL ! .

Mexican marijuana cartels sully US forests, parks
Porterville, Calif. -- National forests and parks — long popular with Mexican marijuana-growing cartels — have become home to some of the most polluted pockets of wilderness in America because of the toxic chemicals needed to eke lucrative harvests from rocky mountainsides, federal officials said...

Many in California. Where are the environmentalists????
