It's soooooooooo hard to get in the Christmas mood with high temps in the 80s...

Nonetheless, it makes great beach weather! Expect highs in the low 80s through Sunday. Weekend forecast is looking excellent for outdoor activities ;)

Next front cools us down Mon night into Tuesday.

I hope everyone had a great holiday and didn't eat too much!

We did have some showers to start off the day, but WOW what a gorgeous start... This cooler weather will last for a couple of days..

We warm up on Thursday and Friday into the mid 70s...

But another cold front will make it through on Saturday to cool us down back in the 60s..

Enjoy!

Another strong cold front will bring below normal temperatures for the next several days..

Jackets, sweaters and extra blankets will be needed as high temperatures will only be in the 60s and overnight lows in the lower 40s..

Enjoy the cooler weather!

I think not.. I'm talking about those signs on I-4 between Maitland Blvd and OBT....(The ones with speed limits of 50 mph)...

As far as I know, no one is following the 50 mph speed limit and still breezing by at 70 mph.

I believe they implemented the signs to eliminate traffic problems during rush hour... I really haven't seen too much alleviation of the traffic problem on I-4..

What do you think?

Those pesky coastal showers are back again on the backside of a high pressure system up north... That means that about 40% of you will see a rain shower or two on sunday and again on monday...

Tuesday we'll tap into some much drier weather to take you through the rest of your work week

Highs will range between 77-80

Time ot break out the light jackets ;)

Weak cold front moving through Central Florida will cool us down overnight and into Sunday.

You'll need a light jacket Sun morning as temperatures will be around 60°.

Expect lots of sun and breezy conditions Sunday afternoon with afternoon high ranging from 77-80°

Enjoy!

We'll go mostly cloudy skies on Monday with a good chance for scattered showers/storms starting around Noon. With the clouds the high temps will be kept around 86. There will likely be showers around during your drive home..  don't forget the umbrella!

Hope you had a great weekend!

I personally think that the theory of slowing down speeds with the automated signs during heavy traffic is great, but what about times when traffic is not a problem..

I personally think that 50 mph while I'm driving to work on I-4 at 3 am is a tad slow...

What's your take?

Keeping you ahead of the storm and Central Florida’s traffic is what Cris will do for you. Cris was born and raised in Goliad, Texas, a historic small town in the southern part of the Lone Star State. After seeing all kinds of weather elements ranging from summertime thunderstorms to hurricanes, he knew that weather was his calling. Cris graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station (Aggieland) with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. Just a week after graduation, he began his career in sunny Corpus Christi as a weekend meteorologist then moved closer to home to Victoria, where he was the co-anchor and meteorologist of his morning show. As if he weren’t busy enough, Cris also worked as the weekend meteorologist at KENS 5 in San Antonio and KHCW in Houston. He is an active member of the American Meteorological Society and is currently in the process of obtaining the distinguished Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal of approval. Cris is excited about being in Central Florida and can’t wait to enjoy all it has to offer. In his off time, he enjoys working out, heading out to the beach, cooking and anything that involves being outdoors.
