Did anyone bother to watch the "debate" last night? movealready?  ibjim?
... the rest of the bloggers who still feel the media has a left-wing bias???

This, possibly last debate between the democratic candidates, was the latest example of Corporate Media propaganda.... does anyone feel insulted? You certainly should!

The corporate media pundits repeatedly asked silly inflammatory questions that did little more than drive infighting or show how ridiculous our news organizations have become...

Can your opponent win?
Do you believe in the American Flag???
Do you think Rev Wright loves America????
Do you believe your opponent has been honest???

What the heck is this?? .... this passes for journalism?
This is considered Fair and Balanced???

Does anyone deny that much of the last 100 years of US foreign policy has been driven by Corporate Interests rather than national interests?... and don't even begin with the line that corporate interest are OUR interests .... Corporations have received unprecedented concessions, unbelievable rights and privileges and unfettered access to every inch of our government. While at the same time moving their operations overseas and destroying our nation's middle class.

Sure, we all have shares in their stocks... well you tell the millions of families who are losing their homes because a layoff took away their revenue stream and white-collar criminals stole their pensions and not only get away with it, but getting a bailout by our government!

You ask why both these candidates voted for GOP-led bills eliminating class-action lawsuits against corporations... You ask why both candidates voted for the GOP-led bill to tighten bankruptcy laws and allow credit card companies to foreclose on the homes of citizens left out in the cold by corporate flight.... What about the 2005 energy reform bill that paved the way for energy companies to have the past two years of record profits??? Why did these candidates support these interests and now their foreclose bailout bill helps corporations not the middle class....

because the corporations who own this "liberal" media will not allow any of these REAL questions to ever be heard...

are you awake yet? Does the impending economic collapse have to burn millions before it even begins to be a blip on your complacent "compassionate conservative" radars?

Corporate Power has clearly shown they want Clinton over Obama... what we really don't know is what kind of hold they have on Obama... and whether their clear control of our "news" organizations will allow them to ruin what should have been the easiest Democratic election in history?? Yes I believe the Corporate elite has chosen all the candidates, but clearly, they have an agenda - and it is best served by McCain, then Hillary and lastly-Obama.

are any of you still not convinced?

Again, Colby, assumptions on your part.

"Yes liberal minded talking heads still read the teleprompter... but its the corporation who writes the words. Propaganda 101."....Your quote from Pride's blog. Liberal minded talking heads? Surely, you have a reason to make that statement? As for the evil corporations writing the words? You have a long way to go to convince me of that.

Also, while I do not like any of the 'big three' we have to choose from this year, Your "Lastly-Obama" comment needs justification.

To ColbyDogg:
Yes, I watched the debate and it was used as a lynching for Senator Obama.
Answers to your questions:
1. yes, Obama can definitely win. He would have a great chance of winning when people start listening to him about issues and not look at his skin color.
2. Do I believe in the American Flag? I don't have one outside my home or on the antenna of my car. I don't wear a flag pin. I won't deface it. Is that what you mean?
3.Yes, I believe Rev. Wright loves this country the same as anyone else. He pointed out its faults (which this country does have even though this is the greatest country) I listened to his sermon in its entirely, not just the 2 minutes that's flashed on the news. He's a very compassionate man and not a devil the way the news media portrays
4.Yes, I believe Sen. Obama has and is honest. He explains over and over again every negative thing that's thrown at him. Now Hillary, that's another question.
5. There are very few real journalists. What we have are people on tv who sit there and give their negative point of views on a person not people or journalist who report the news. The media has become a very dangerous power source.
6.Definitley the country is being run by Corparate.
7. last but not least, Corporate America does have an agenda. They definitley do not want a black man to be head of state in America. Not because of qualifications or electiblilty but becauase of the color of his skin. The news media says this election does not have a race factor, but we all know that is lie. When will our country get pass color and

and judge a person by his character and not the color of his skin. This election has truly brought out bitterness in this country. It should have brought the country closer together but instead, it's making a large division. 2008 and we have regressed back 50 years or more. That's a downright shame.

thanks.. I was wondering if anyone in Penn was awake...

you are right it is a race issue.. but even more than that... its this corporate coup... this silent ceaseless evolution from democracy of the people by the people... to one of the corporation, by the corporation.

it is succeeding... so long as they get Hillary or McCain... Obama... won't listen to the military and economic advisors the corproate elite have in pace to run this nation... that scares em... like it did during JFK... Bobby Kennedy... Martin Luther King... MalcolmX and even John Lennon.... they have no trouble killing those who succeed by public appeal but refuse to follow the agenda... I'm worried.

ColbyDog,
Sorry to say, you are absolutely correct. I wish you were wrong. And, I'm worried as well.

I'm a concerned citizen who is worried that this administration is finalizing plans to overthrow the way our nation has run for more than two centuries. They plan to serve a NEW citizenry... the corporate citizen. And we the people... unless we're part of the aristocracy, will no longer have rights, only priviledges. Like in most of the third world, but better. I'm trying to wake folks up. Take back the government and hog-tie these corporations... but have we a chance?
