It takes a Kennedy to tell the truth.
I just hope he doesn't get assassinated.
Truth is treason.
I will be sharing this video.
Thank you.

Um, I noticed how he forgot to mention CNN, MSNBC, NBC and ABC as being liberal. This guy stands there and lies through his teeth.

The reason there is no equivalent to Hannity, Beck et al is because America doesn't tolerate it.

By the way, Katbird, why didn't Ted Kennedy tell the truth at Chappaquiddick?

scotty... that is Robert Kennedy Jr. talking, not Ted.... and if you did your homework you might know that NBC, ABC, MSNBC and CNN are all corporate-owned media outlets...

the fact that they have SOME liberal commentators in fact reenforces what Kennedy was saying...they have BOTH sides of the spectrum represented to keep the ignorant masses believing the lies... its called plausible deniability.

you seem to be proving their programming perfectly.

I know what Kennedy that is, Colby. I was referring to Katbird's comment about, "It takes a Kennedy to tell the truth."

With regard to CNN, it is owned by Ted Turner. He is the poster child for authoritarian globalism and the United Nations uber alles. In fact, he gave 1 billion as a gift to the UN.
Liberal enough for you?

NBC is a bastion of liberlness. I work for them on occasion and you should see the mound of Start Up paperwork one has to sign. Of course, MSNBC is NBC as well. Keith Olbermann - need I say more?

I have done my homework, Colby. May I suggest you study yours?

actually, CNN is no longer owned by Ted Turner - a fact he resoundingly regrets...

CNN owned by Time-Warner communications giant who donated $1.6million to Bush in 2000.

NBC... owned by GE makers of nuclear weapons, depleated-uranium munitions... oh and appliances.... no wait they just sold that part... oh yeah also overpriced medical equipment that they just had Congress pass laws to shield them from any liability lawsuits... its good to be king.

MSnbc... well you know the NBC part- the other a little company in Washington State called Microsoft.

ABC... Mickey Mouses's employer, Disney.. who also holds large stock assets in oil and gas companies.

yes Scotty... you should say more... but try sticking to facts.

Are you denying the aforementioned networks are liberal, for real?

I guess that's why there's all the bashing of Fox news and no other.

which part of my statements and post did you not understand?

plausable deniability.... give the people divergent viewpoints to keep their trust in the system.

control the viewpoints carefully... Bill Moyer was censored, as was Phil Donahue... they were too caustic forthe ratings...

today with a 27% approval rating... it not only makes sense... but DOLLARS AND CENTS to prop up some liberal viewpoints... personally, Obermann is as bombastic as Oreally... they are both Comic Relief.

Corporations have long proved they would eat their young if it meant higher ratings... thats the problem.

Yes Scotty, these corporations are allowing liberal viewpoints to be heard.... but not throughout their broadcast spectrum... what about talk radio?

Talk radio is vastly conservative. Rush, Hannity and Levin are heavy hitters, with myriad local conservatives repeating what the Big 3 say.

I read your Bio and I agree 100% with your take on the media influencing the election, namely the candidates. Moreover, to a large extent, I do believe "they" collectively influence the outcome of the elections.

I hate the fact that the media has successfully sold America that Democracy means a two-party system.

Nowhere on earth has any system been called a democracy that had two choices... Iraq's democracy had more than 100 "parties" represented... as little as fifty years ago America had five parties... now as Howard Zinn (i think) coined... the rich have two parties representing their interests and the rest of us... have none.

I'm no fan for any of the choices, but Obama has the greatest potential for change... and right now... we really need a change. Hillary and McCain will both be disasters for our economy.

given that reality... the choice is hard to deny.

Please answer my question, Katbird.

I disagree with you there, Colby. I truly believe Obama is our greatest threat to national security, and certainly with regard to what remains of a republic. He's a dedicated Marxist with many questionable poor choices on his voting record. Ideologically he is far left and spiritually is misguided by Black Liberation Theology, which is decidely racist and anti-American.

Scotty....one bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch.
Ted is now paying for his crimes. He will suffer until the end and go to the grave knowing he was not a good person. Why do you think he's an alcoholic? He drinks away his guilt. I have no respect for Ted, but Robert and John will always have my respect.

Scotty...I support Ron Paul.
He will get my vote.

Good enough for me, Kat. Truth be known, I agree with more of what Ron Paul has to say than the other 3.

again I think you are repeating the words you've heard on MSM... the truth is the DNC would't put anyone that radical up... whay do you think Kucinich and Gravel were eliminated so quickly... they are left of center... Obama, Hillary... all of em are more right-leaning than you've been sold... the power-elite fear his inexperience because they have little to sink their claws into... he could go any direction... that scares the crap out of them...

Let's put it this way, my friend - the man is far too left for my liking. Thanks for the chart.

given that... what do you think of how the right-wing has handled the nation the last 8 years?

Are we better off now than in 2000? Do you see our standing amongst world nations as improved, same or reduced? Have you or ones you know personally benefitted by the economic, foreign and domestic policy brought about by this right wing agenda...?

but for some reason you feel anyone who wants to reach out and form a coalition of people, nations or classes is not only wrong, but dangerous and against democracy? Tell me where you learned this thought process. How'd you arrive at this opinion? What credible information sources not of corporate ownership have you used to form your opinion?

independent authors, media outlets, government reports, public records, historic perspectives other than those fed you by corporate publishers... I'm really interested to know.

The right has mishandled several things, including the war. That doesn't mean I am against the war(s), but rather that I am against politicians mismanaging them.

Are we better off since 2000? With regrad to other nations, no. And mind you, that won't change no matter who gets in office. You must realize that united Islam has been at war for centuries and that we are an obstacle to them.

I have benefitted as far as this goes: I have steady employment, I have vehicles and I have a side business.

I am never against coalitions as long as they're not socialist in structure. Taking from my wealth to give to the poor is done through taxation and my generosity. We don't need a bigger chunk of our salaries going to unsupervised entitlement programs for the lazy and deadbeats of our nation.

Well the presidential erection cycle has gone into the final stretch. In some of the most violent conventions since 1968, the people have again seen their rights trampled under the boots and battions of a brutal police force. Meanwhile inside, thousands of hysterical fans screamed like it was the Beatles as their choices for office took the stages. Have both parties sold out to Big Media and Multinationals? Does anyone in the US care? Lets hope people are doing more than watching TV to form their opinion. The stakes are becoming incredibly high in this rapidly globalized world... where decisions made now effect the entire planet and all its inhabitants... Are you choosing experience or what TV tells you is experience? Poncias Pilate was a Governor and Jesus, a community organizer. Beware the false prophets.
